Kate's farm is a family hill farm that is desperate to reach out directly to their customers rather than selling to supermarkets. We've been buying their meat for ages and can vouch for their conscientious farming methods & exceptional meat quality.

I am also putting together a simple database of local UK farmers who accept BTC for their beef on the website bitcoinbeef.org. It's not quite ready yet but we're looking for suggestions of other farmers to add to the database, so please DM me if you know of any.

Island north of the Arctic Circle just received an additional major shipment of plant variety seeds for its special storage. What makes this entire seed bank enterprise suspicious at the very least is the list of financial sponsors behind the global project. #FoodIntelligence
It has an impressive list of financial sponsors which it calls the Donors’ Council. Among the most eye-catching they name Bayer Crop Science, which now incorporates Monsanto; DuPont Pioneer Hi-Bred; Syngenta AG, now owned by ChemChina.
