HOW TO BECOME A PROFITABLE #FOREXTRADER PART 2
After identifying repeatable price patterns or setups exclusive only to you, categorize them into types of setups, A or B. Build a database in Microsoft edge or google docs of similar instances from past and also future as they..
come. Why these moves? What are the variables in the move? Intraday? Daily? News? Other nuances? What makes it a better setup or worse setup? Can I see them real time?
Look for patterns, test hypotheses. Does logic support why this edge might exist? When can I see them. Please, starting to trade has nothing to do with psychology, with edge comes good psychology.

I just finished a workout & it's time for a quick recap of the NY session & chart run through

WORD: The price action went quiet today 📉📈📊

Let's begin 👇

@uk2asia @priceactionkim
• EU: ranging; price broke up (I missed it) & immediately went sideways, closing back in the range. Fresh break gave +15 before chopping

• EJ: CDM long, entry 30 mins bf our planning & a good trade +25. I took it & punched out for +2 missing the meat of the move ---duhhh!
• AU: CDM long. I took a YL trade before the planning session to be stopped out -10, pair went into a range

• AJ: CDM long. I took a YL trade before the planning & punched out -5, pair went into a range

The first and most important rule of forex trading is to avoid over-trading. It is nothing but a result of greed, which results in loss. Every trader has the greed of getting more and more profits, and thus, they invest all their hard-earned profits in it.
2. Do not let your emotions get over you
Emotions are something that can destroy a person's future. A business may get affected because of the emotions. Whatever business it is, it is better to keep the emotions on one side. Trades that are based on emotions result in loss.

1. I don't have money to save and invest.
You don't need to be rich to trade the Forex Market. One of the main advantages of currency trading is the minimal capital needed to open and fund your account. You might be able to start trading with only $10 dollars.
2. Trading is too risky.
There is the same amount of risk involved in trading the forex market as there is on anything else in life. As long as you are prepared you can keep your risks under control.

Why Volume Matters when Trading FX?
There is a myth out there that suggests that volume in fx markets does not exist and furthermore if it did, it cannot be calculated. The reason for this explanation is as below:

#forex #fx #forextrader #forexmoney
independentinvestor.com/forex/how-curr… Image
Stocks and Futures are traded on a centralized exchange, therefore each trade that goes through is recorded and therefore is readily available, making it very easy for a trader to view the volumes on any given day.

In fx however, there is no actual centralized exchange, rather fx is traded through an inter bank system, thus making it very difficult to see what the volume is and where it may be coming from.

Market Structure refers to the evolution of market movements.

The market price usually makes some repetitive movements that forms a structure.

This concept is universal. It relies on your understanding of swing Highs and swing Lows (Fractals)
#forex #forextrader #forextrading ImageImage
Generally, the market trades from short term low (STL) to short term high (STH) back to a new short term low (STL). As these STL’s and STH’s form, they will develop a “market structure “of price action.
Short term low is swing low
Short term high is swing high
Any short term low (STL) that has higher short term lows (STL) on both sides of it is considered an Intermediate term low (ITL).
Any short term high (STH) that has lower short term highs (STH) on both sides of it is considered an Intermediate term high (ITH).

Here we will show what makes CFDs the perfect instrument for traders all around the world.

1. Leverage offers a great advantage for retail trader but it comes with its own benefits and risks. Leverage "technically" allows you to borrow money from your broker and thus you don't need to pay 100% value of the underlying instrument.

2. Range of market. With CFDs, you can "virtually" trade anything, you name it, but the most common products are: stocks (shares), forex, commodities, indices, and cryptocurrencies.
