If you were still in any doubt about not just how divisive & misguided Laurence Fox is, but also how dangerously irresponsible he is, this might help.

Brextremist millionaire Jeremy Hosking, who funds contrarian libertarian magazine 'The Critic', also funds Fox's Reclaim Party.
Hosking is a multi-millionaire financier with a financial interest in Marathon Asset Management, which is owned offshore in Jersey & operates in the Cayman Islands. Hosking gave over £1.8 million to the Vote Leave campaign & previously donated £700,000 to the @Conservatives.
Like other rich libertarians such as Robert Mercer who funded Breitbart, last year Hosking gave £850,000 to Standpoint magazine - its core mission "to celebrate western civilisation", in particular 'free speech'. Michael Gove is on the advisory board.

Yesterday we published our latest report BREXIT AND THE UNION @UKandEU

What challenges does leaving the European Union pose for the Unions of Great Britain and Northern Ireland? 👇 Image
#NorthernIreland #Brexit is challenging the 3 strands of the Belfast Agreement and tensions can be seen in internal relations, as well as relationships with the South and with the UK. Constitutional change in now part of the broader Irish political narrative @MaryCMurphy
#Wales is easily forgotten in UK territorial politics. Welsh Government has always pledged strong support for the UK Union while favouring further devolution. #GE19 made parties assess their approach to #Brexit and reconsider their constitutional stance. @Jaclarner @DanielWinc

Some home truths on lessons of #GE19 & the way forward for the #AntiEstablishment #left

“The real lesson of this is that no” [#Labour ] “leader unable to decisively defeat” [the] “Labour-right would last very long.”

True, but 1st you have to see the necessity of routing them
You have to name the problem & be *willing* to confront it before you find out if you’re *able* to do so. The problem is that you can’t build an anti establishment party under the same roof as pro-establishment enemies & the Labour-right ARE implacable pro-establishment enemies>
yet there was never any recognition of this from the leadership, still less any serious effort on their part to openly confront & oust them as such. On the contrary, war criminal Blair remains a Labour Party member, the outrageous liar Margaret Hodge remains a member whilst >

In Scotland there’s a political party called the SNP. They are a Scottish political party based in Scotland.

They have, for a long time, made it clear they feel Scotland would be better off independent from the U.K.
In recent times they have campaigned on the issue of independence and made it clear that a vote for them is a vote for Scottish Independence. At the #GE19 they win 80% of the seats in Scotland.
Other parties in Scotland campaigned against independence and said a vote for them would be a vote for the Union. Those parties lost many of their seats. From the result of that election it’s clear there is a strong appetite for Independence.

1/5 #FakeViews

#labour I'm worried
I need you to find your way to electability.
That doesn't start with reality denial.

1. Total seats lost due to LD/SNP competition - 60
Biggest issue, not even discussed.
2. Socialism/corbynism marketing problem bigger than #Brexit⏬ ignored.
2/5 #FakeViews

3. Our policies wern't good. An incoherent mess that none of us understood or could communicate

4. Everything #Blair did was wrong. So we actively refuse to do stuff that's right, just because he did it

5. We have no strategy or forward dream. FTMNTF is vacuous.
3/5 #FakeViews
#Brexit was a disaster. But not at #GE19, because we didn't build a position on #brexit for three years. #labour creates strategy.
It can't dodge it.

7. We have a core hydra of people centrally who are staying the same...major problem.

This may seem like a "told you so". It's not. It's more of a "please let's learn from our mistakes as #Labour tries to rebuild itself.

I sent out countless warnings like this months before #GE19, they all fell on deaf ears.

We need leaders who can ally, not stubborn obsessives.
I also sent out these

Also not a I told you so, also a please learn #labour

Other parties can be useful to you, reach people you cannot.
In fact you've only ever lost when you've tried to squeeze them.

Back to 1900 tories don't win. Progressives lose.

Seems that the latest #BashCorbyn frenzy is 'why doesn't he apologise?'

So:

I want an apology from every member of the 2016 'Chicken Coup'.

I want an apology for all those members expelled for spurious reasons during the 2016 leadership election. 1/4
I want an apology from every LAB MP/'grand olde' spokes(wo)man who ever insulted a member.

I want an apology from every MP/party member who has ever told a lie about Jeremy Corbyn.

I want an apology from every MP/LPC/Councillor who didn't get fully behind the... 2/4
.... #GE17 or #GE19 Manifestos.

I want an apology from everyone who has pushed in the last two years for LAB to be a/the 'Remain' Party (I voted Remain).

I want an apology from every MP who credits only themselves for wins and blames only Corbyn for losses. 3/4

Here's a summary + supporting evidence in the form of a **Mighty Thread** using @ARK_info data 📊 & work with @BenRosher [🙌].

Right so.
Do public opinion, #GE19 & #Brexit make a United Ireland inevitable? 🧐

TL;DR: No.
1/ irishtimes.com/opinion/northe…
@IrishTimesOpEd @ARK_info @BenRosher Reason why DUP is under pressure isn't due to a general ‘greening’ of NI electorate nor down to any fabled ‘pan-nationalist front’.

They lost because of a pro-#Remain vote coming from unionist voters as well as nationalist ones
+ those who don't identity with either. #Neither
2/
@IrishTimesOpEd @ARK_info @BenRosher @CathalPMc & I argued: "to be Neither Unionist nor Nationalist does not automatically mean you vote for an ‘alternative’ or middle ground party such as Alliance."
journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.117…

Neithers vote across the spectrum & –more notably– many don’t vote at all
...Until #GE19?

The people saying that the election result proves social media is not reflective of the nation do not understand social media.

Short thread.

#GE19
They think it's a smart point to make - loads of people on Twitter liked Labour and Labour were thrashed which means social media was wrong and did not reflect some mythical "real" UK.
Firstly, Twitter is not all of social media. Secondly, your experience of social media is not all of social media. There are hundreds of millions of people on social media - of course all views are represented there. It's just that you don't see them.

THREAD: no final victory, no final defeat.

There has never been such an all pervasive, coordinated, underhand operation to rig an election as occurred with #GE19
The huge strides achieved by Corbyn since he began Labour's long overdue journey back to the left must continue. 1/
It is quite phenomenal that he's achieved so much, with that cloud of arrows blocking out the sun, many from his own inherited set of Blairite charlatans. Thru wave after wave of despicable sabotage he stood strong. They questioned his mettle, he never, ever stumbled. Granite. 2/
What made this happen was not the antisemitism smears concocted by Israeli assets like Shai Masot, nor the hack journo stream of bullshit about IRA support, or faking train problems or not liking poppies enough, all of that could've been surpassed. It was PV wot done it. 3/

More reminders.

#Kensington. Vote Labour tomorrow. Here's why.

I see the appeal of lib dems. I want to vote for Sam.

But he has shifted remain votes from lab to lib not con.

That's the sort of outcome we don't need.

Vote #labour and @emmadentcoad tomorrow in #Kensington.
The recriminations between #labour and #libdems on splitting votes go way back before #GE19 - but check my timeline - I've been constructive advocting cooperation.

I don't care who has done what to the other.

I care if we all lose. I'm objective.

Not least because I'm prepared to change my view as we get new data.

At the start of the campaign, I advocated for Lib Dems in #Kensington. @emmadentcoad
Is a good MP, but data said libs had a better chance.

Now, on the most credible data we have, voting LD = tory win here.

[Thread]1/ This one is about the fake news claiming that a sick boy on the floor of a hospital in leeds was staged by his mother. We know the story is real, Dr Yvette Oade, chief medical officer at Leeds even apologised bbc.com/news/uk-englan…
2/ Firstly, the bots and sock puppet accounts are on the case on Twitter. As you can see, an identical tweet claiming the mother staged the photo was circulated on Twitter. It's literally copied and pasted, and the accounts are targeting it at various influencers
3/ Even more alarming is on Facebook. The exact same tweet is mentioned on dozens of fairly dodgy looking FB accounts. What's more, is that some of these posts are pasted into groups where they get liked and commented on, often by people who seem to believe it ... #bbcqt

In nearly every major riot over the last 40 years, Corbyn has either supported the rioters or castigated the police.

For example Corbyn campaigned for the 'rioters' who in 2009 attacked Downing St & the Israeli embassy. 1/10

Of course Corbyn himself was at this event and was one of the rabble-rousers who spurred on the crowd. 2

During the 1994 Hyde Park riots, Corbyn who had chaired the demo said:

"The police deliberately charged the demonstrators"

And "blamed police incompetence for the way in which the demonstration erupted into violence." 3

I spent some time today out of London talking to what politicians call, "the common voter".

ie. My family, their friends at a party 😂

All worried about #GE19
In a marginal

Saw 2 big swing groups 🔄 that we are failing to reach

FOR RECOMMENDATIONS SKIP TO END. SEGMENTS NEXT
✅ 1 Used to be Tory 🔄
"Natural 1 nation Conservatives" angry and confused. They refuse to elect ERG/Boris, they're spitting.

I've never seen a tory lady of a certain age spit. Not nice.

The anger and contempt for their previous party incredible. "Wreckers" is their name.
✅ 2 UtbT 🔄
Lab don't be happy.
They won't vote for Corbyn ever, and they fear McDonnell more. "The architect, the real communist who wants to break it all".

Oddly entitled tho. Find labour scary, but demand attention "why didn't they find someone electable we could vote for"

Snow: "Do you regret the thousands of pounds you took off the Iran state broadcaster when working for them?"

Corbyn: "I took part in some programmes on Press TV, I stopped doing anything with Press TV when they dealt with the elections in the way they did."

Liar.

#GE19 1/13
The election in Iran were in June 2009. Corbyn in fact only STARTED working for the Iranians state in June 2009.

And rather than stop working for them, actually continued to work for them for 3 more years. 2
Some presenters did indeed quit Press TV in June '09, like Nick Ferrari.

Corbyn did cancel a show as the news broke, but like George Galloway and Lauren Booth continued to be paid by the Iranians and promote their twisted propaganda, as they oppressed their people. 3
