@NKobserver Ok. 02:00 czasu lok. siły zbrojne #Azerbejdżan rozpoczęły zmasowany ostrzał płd.-wsch. odcinka granicy z #Armenia przy wykorzystaniu ciężkiej artylerii oraz dronów. Z czasem ostrzał objął również głębię ormiańskiego terytorium w prowincjach Gegharkunik, Vajac Dzor i Sjunik.

Równolegle z prowadzonym ostrzałem regularnie dochodzi od prób przełamania linii obrony #Armenia przez siły lądowe #Azerbejdżan, aczkolwiek dotychczas nie mamy do czynienia z ich masowym wejściem na terytorium #Armenia, a jedynie przesuwaniem linii obrony na swoją korzyść.

I’ve analysed every single 1v1 situation in the 19/20 #PremierLeague (600+ situations) & calculated using logistic regression the optimum strategy a GK could use to maximise their chance of making the save depending on the situation location & the build-up leading to the chance.
I found that GKs use the following 5 strategies to save 1v1s:
1. Wait deep & then react to the shot
2. Engage & then react to the shot
3. Engage & smother the ball
4. Engage & spread
5. Engage & block

Some people don’t always appreciate how difficult it is to catch in games:

If you do catch it, people usually call it an easy / routine save... not that the GK made it LOOK EASY
