Gender dysphoria was previously known as "gender identity disorder" (GID) in the Diagnostic Statistical Manual, fourth edition (DSM-IV). Children with a persistent cross-gender identification and a persistent discomfort with their sex were diagnosed with GID. 2/19
During the 60s and 70s, clinicians used the term "true transexual" to describe those who suffered from gender distress. To qualify as a true transexual, you must have consistent cross-gender ID, no arousal from cross-dressing, and no interest in heterosexual copulation 3/19

3. Mx. Juniper System (Different person from @skunktaur) is an admin of this community and even endorsed the practice. If this were about people getting treatment from pharmacists or doctors I could interpret it as hyperbole, but the context makes it clear it is not hyperbole.

2/ There are no long term studies done to know how it will affect children, but obviously the side effects will be worse than what adults suffer from from being on it, as their bodies and brains are still developing.
3/ This generation of kids is quite literally being used as lab rats for this sick ideology. The damage done will be irreparable. To the parents that allow the medicalization of their confused children, you don’t have the RIGHT to make these decisions for them.

@againstgroomers #GaysAgainstGroomers claims to want to protect children from predators. That's a noble goal. But is this the way to do so? The shotgun approach to smearing people with the stench of child abuse is dumb, dangerous, and wrong. It will get someone killed. Have we learned nothing?
