#Reggianini (1858-1938) fue un pintor academicista especializado en escenas galantes del s. XVIII, de caballeros y damas en escenas plácidas y con trasfondo amoroso, destacando por su habilidad como dibujante y para pintar telas suntuosas y muebles lujosos: mucho dorado!

Aunque ahora nos parecen un poco tontas, estas escenas eran tremendamente populares a finales del XIX y principios del XX, especialmente en Florencia, donde residía, pintaba y vendía con gran éxito sus obras: elegantes escenas de género que "sugieren" historias de amor.

A is for Artes Radium Cream. Launched in London in 1931 it was advertised as a revolutionary home beauty treatment: "the active properties in this scientific preparation stimulate the skin cells, clearing the complexion and refining the texture of the skin in a wonderful way."
This advert is from Tatler and is dated June 1932. "It was first thought of by Madame Maria Hornes .... while observing the wonderful rejuvenating action on the skin's texture of Radium Springs baths at a continental spa."
