Ramaswamy con is brand new. You don't hold any political office nor do you want to.

You start a new wealth management fund. Attack your Wall Street competitors as too woke. Use free publicity by pretending to run for President to gin up business for said fund, drop out.
Hardly anyone in the MSM who platforms Vivek Ramaswamy informs their audience that dude actually has a wealth management fund, with Thiel & friends as investors, that is looking to compete with Blackrock etc.

The anti-ESG screed of his is a customer acquisition play.
Ramaswamy seems straight out of #GlassOnion cos he used to be the relatively least famous member of that cabal that's everywhere. Classmate of JD Vance, partner with Thiel, protege of Tiger Mom Chua. Connected AF!

So removed from reality, he thinks gig economy fixes casteism. Image

Okay, so #Receptiogate is trending in multiple countries. If you missed the beginning of this (still unfolding) drama over plagiarized research, fake research institutes, and medieval manuscripts, here's a compilation to get you started with your bowl of popcorn. ⬇️🍿
There's so many subthreads and additions to various things from the Twitter community that I'll inevitably miss some stuff stuff (and some is slightly out of chronological order), but here it goes!
This began with Peter Kidd (@mssprovenance), an independent scholar, finding that portions of his work on his blog and in other formal published venues had been taken without credit by a woman named Carla Rossi of Receptio. He wrote about it on his blog:

Wow, look everyone: the guy who has repeatedly tried and failed to make films starring Gina Carano that have literally no purpose other than to be anti-woke, has an opinion about an actually good film. I can't wait to see this.

Yes, spoilers below.
BREAKING NEWS: A murder mystery film tried to misdirect the audience.

Here's a thought, Ben, maybe the next time you criticize a film, actually understand its genre first?
Again, Ben, that's how murder mysteries work. They misdirect. But the thing is, there actually ARE clues to a lot of this stuff planted early on for observant viewers. Again, a trope of the genre. How is any of this a complaint?

I started watching #GlassOnion yesterday, and within 14 minutes there were references to Twitter bans for anti-Semitism, male chauvinism, lockdown, characters in hand-made face masks and observing social distancing. We don’t have a culture anymore, just relentless propaganda.
Well spotted, @PinkCody4. At 8'10", Yo-Yo Ma, Agenda Contributor to the World Economic Forum, in a UN (i.e. BlackRock) Sustainable Development Goals lapel badge, as worn by Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, and every other propagandist for the Agenda 2030 programme of immiseration.
I read a review of this last month, and it didn’t mention any of this. You know when new values, practices, meanings, behaviours and relationships that until recently would have been thought obscene are now the dominant ideology: when they’re transparent.

Fellow film tech nerds, if you can't get enough of the ol' Vitrum Cepa this holiday season, settle in for a LONG #NerdyFilmTechStuff post on the lighting rigs we built for the heightened, theatrical, impressionistic lighthouse effect in @RianJohnson's #GlassOnion.
The effect was not merely a random/offhanded thing that we just set spinning and allowed to hit the set whenever chance determined -- rather, every time it occurs, it's pointedly designed to look a certain way and to happen with precise timing to punctuate the drama of the scene.
We wanted distinct hard edges to the sweep of the light. Even though the edges of the beam of a real lighthouse would be blurry, we wanted very crisp leading and trailing edges...

What does playing James Bond, one of the most iconic characters in movie history, mean to Daniel Craig?

“I’d love to give you a very succinct and proper answer to that, but I don’t think I have one,” he says while discussing his move from Bond to Blanc. latimes.com/entertainment-…
“It’s been a large part of my life and has taken up most of my working life for the past 17, 18 years now,” he says of #JamesBond. “To really put that into some sort of perspective, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to do it. Really.” latimes.com/entertainment-… Image
“It’s just too big of a thing to really get into a pithy comment,” he tells Mark Olsen (@IndieFocus).

“It’s not that I’ll not want to, but to sort of sum it up, how does one sum that up?” latimes.com/entertainment-… Image
