- Ignores deadly Jacksonville shooting
- Tweets about his approval rating instead
- What a psychopath!
- We want #GunControlNow
- Trump needs to resign immediately
- He's going to prison anyway

2/ Many politicians, especially those on the Right, pretend they are strictly adhering to the U.S. #Constitution when they often are just making the founding document mean whatever they want – but perhaps nowhere is that as dangerous as with their make-believe #SecondAmendment.
3/ In the wake of a Sunday mass shooting in #LasVegas—where one individual firing from a high-rise hotel murdered 58 people and wounded more than 500 at a country music festival ---
It's been 5 months since the #Parkland massacre. On the 14th of the month I've been tweeting each of the portraits I drew.
A star soccer player. A devoted friend. One of the youngest to die.
14 yrs old.
I'm still here. She's not. I remember. RIP
"He was a very funny kid, outgoing and sometimes really quiet," wrote Miguel Duque, about his baby brother #MartinDuque.
What a disgrace for our country that students are murdered in school.
Remembering Martin, 5 months after his death. #EnoughIsEnough #RoadToChange
Cara means "friend" in #Irish.
Cara's funeral was held on her 15th birthday.
Her father came here from Ireland to pursue the American dream.
#BREAKING: A shooting has occurred at the Capital Gazette in Anne Arundel County, according to reports from Gazette staff. Phil Davis, a Gazette reporter, said that multiple people had been shot. Details are still coming in at this time. baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/…
Update from a witness: “Gunman shot through the glass door to the office and opened fire on multiple employees. Can’t say much more and don’t want to declare anyone dead, but it’s bad."
Update from a witness: "There is nothing more terrifying than hearing multiple people get shot while you’re under your desk and then hear the gunman reload.”
I'm so tired. So heartbroken. More kids. Another school shooter. This is our normal now. We don't have to accept it, though. When I was 17 & reeling after the Columbine shooting, no adults told us that it would be ok, that someone would stop the madness. 1/
We stumbled around, feeling blindly for the edges of our grief. Personally, I thought it was a one-time thing. I thought it was an isolated horror. I thought Littleton must have been a special town, & that we were special in our sadness, terror, & anger. 2/
I was wrong. Littleton, CO is the same as Newtown, CT, Parkland, FL, and Santa Fe, TX. My community was the same as theirs. Our shooters just happened to do it sooner. Even the pictures of survivors & parents crying are the same. Same emotions... different faces. 3/
"A large portion of the mass shootings in the U.S. in recent years have roots in domestic violence against partners and family members." | In Texas And Beyond, Mass Shootings Have Roots In Domestic Violence n.pr/2lYxMtV#GunControl#MarchForOurLives
Just a reminder to the #2ndAmendment supporters. We will lose our Gun Rights if Democrats take back control. They have the majority of the indoctrinated millennial vote to make it happen. Folks, it's time to #RedPill your family and friends.
They need hard lessons from the history of an unarmed society. See the Middle East, See Germany, Uk, Austrailia. Everyone must get out and vote even if you think it doesn't matter. No matter how angry you are at this administration. A lesson from History.

I’m glad to see you all at this march, but I wish the context of it didn’t exist. I’m inspired by the young folks here & around the country who’ve mobilized and organized around the issue of gun violence prevention
It has been 38 days since a shooting at #MSD High School in parkland, FL.

It's pretty much impossible for a Brazilian to legally obtain a gun (I'll let the leftists at NPR gleefully and unironically point this out in an article about Brazil's high homicide rate) 👇 npr.org/sections/paral…
Gun control isn't just failing in Brazil. Merry old London saw gun crime increase 42% between 2016 and 2017 bbc.com/news/uk-englan…
The #NRA killed Brady Bill's provision buyers complete full background check before getting the gun. With NRAs "instant" background check system, if FBI can't complete review within 3 days, you get the gun!
2/ Understanding gun laws: "Gun show loophole"
Only licensed sellers have to run a background check. Per federal law, private sellers do not. Only 9 states and DC require background checks on private sales of all types of guns. #GunReformNow#MarchForOurLives
3/ Understanding gun laws: CAP Laws (Child Access Protection)
In 2015 & 2016, more toddlers killed Americans than terrorists. Kids accessed parents' guns & pulled the trigger, killing themselves or family. 21 states have no CAP laws to prosecute negligent parents.
My thread for gun-ownership and -safety reform. Link to a comprehensive plan at the bottom...
Establish age, mental-health, and registration prerequisites to ownership: Set minimum ownership age to 21 for all weapons except shotguns, which can be purchased at 18. All owners must pass ATF-designed mental-health exam with a locally-designated physician prior to purchase.
For handgun ownership, this must be repeatedly yearly. All owners of handguns must register ownership annually and meet all prerequisites at the time of registration. All sellers must register as dealers annually.
WRT gun control, I'm reasonably sure that a large percentage of those opposed feel like they're stable, responsible, et al. The reality is that we are humans, and we are fallible. We are emotional creatures, all of who have had moments of confusion, /1
fear, sadness/depression/anxiety...we are programmed biologically as a self-defense mechanism to jump to conclusions, often the extreme conclusion and react either by fleeing or fighting. This is inside of all living creatures, and I think we forget that as we /2
sit comfortably at the top of the food chain with relatively few predators to concern ourselves with. So we get complacent in our environment with respect to threat. I'm not saying there aren't real threats here, but very few of us have ever lived with the real chance of being /3
I've compiled a thread of fellow vets speaking out in support of gun control and/or against Trump's terrible idea of arming teachers, including links. Consider this a resource. I'll add to it as necessary. (thread)
The #NRA is a powerful functioning arms industry #lobby masquerading as a 501(c)4 #nonprofit membership organization, claiming to educate the public about the interests of its members. Here’s why we need to stop this lie and strip it of nonprofit status:
If you do the math, with 5 million members x $40 annual dues, the #NRA should have an annual budget of about $200 million dollars as a membership organization.
However, the NRA'S total budget was over $400 million in 2016 because more than half of its budget comes from individual and corporate contributions and selling advertising in publications and events.
Every School Shooting & their Casualties (THREAD):
US School Shooting #1}
The earliest known US school shooting - July 26, 1764
Present-Day Greencastle, PA
4 shooters entered a schoolhouse where they shot & killed the schoolmaster & killed 10 children. Only 2 kids survived.
US School Shootings #2)
Nov. 2, 1853 Louisville, KY
A student, Matthew Ward, bought a self-cocking pistol in the morning, went to school and killed Schoolmaster Mr. Butler in front of his classmates for excessively punishing his brother the day before.
USA School Shootings #3)
March 9, 1873 Salisbury, MD
After school, a teacher was walking with four small children. She was approached by a Mr. Hall and shot. The Schoolmaster ran out, but she was dead instantly. Hall threw himself in front of a train.
Through their relationship to the NRA these *Business Alliance* partners are complicit in the deaths of every gun violence and mass shooting victim. Do you want to do business with the NRA’s #DeadlyAllies?
1) I listen to the leftist talking points and how they boo the second amendment and cheer gun bans - it got me thinking, each of those leftist democrats must have the ghost of a KKK ideological ancestor smiling behind them. #GunControlNow began in the US due to pure racism
2) My fellow patriots @drawandstrike, @ThomasWictor, and @Debradelai talk about the idiocy of the gun grabbers, but I believe it is important to see the historical context to it. Gun control is/was used by those in power to control their subjects. Exactly why the KKK loved it
3) During the age of slavery, all slave states had laws that prohibited slaves from owning guns or weapons. Slave revolts - aka human beings standing up for their God-given liberty - were widely feared to the point of paranoia
THREAD: President Donald J. Trump, you do not have my permission. Please do not use the murder of my daughter to further your agenda to discredit the Russian investigation. My family and I have not even heard from you since this happened.
This is not a political problem, it’s a public safety problem. If you want to stand by me to discuss that and effect change in gun violence, then I will stand by your side,
but you do not have my permission to use my daughters death to your political benefit regarding Russia in your tweets.”
(2) It didn't stop that terrorist from purchasing a gun because he wasn't in the system. That is not the Legal Gun Owners fault. It is not the Gun Salesman fault. It is not The NRA's Fault and it Damn sure isn't the Presidents fault.
(3) But liberals Have to place the blame on someone in order to push the nationwide gun ban agenda. It's why they have completely politicized every mass shooting while completely ignoring Chicago has the same number of murders every weekend.
