1-6. Many times in the Education sector (18 years & a bit) I was told during interviews "we only gave you an interview because we were told we've got to tick a box that we interviewed a coloured person". I will never forgot those horrible words!.
2. I was told "your over experienced for the role you've applied for, especially for someone of your kind!". I always knew what the reason was, they didnt want someone like me, it was obvious looking at the working enviroment. #southasian #asian #proud
3. I never knew being brown skinned, having a culture and religion was a crime, till I joined a profession that almost finished me off!. But I aint going nowhere! I'll keep standing my ground and building that equality and fairness for others in my position in the profession....

दुर्मिळ असुन १० लाखांतुन एखाद्याला होतो..आपल्या सारख्या तमाम रसिकवर्गाचं दुर्दैवच की हा रोग इरफान खान सारख्या अत्यंत हुशार,अष्टपैलू,कामाला न्याय देणार्या पण दैनंदिन जीवनात तेवढाच सरळ,साध्या कलाकाराला व्हावा....

OK, so here are some things I learned (many the hard way) about the first week of Distance Learning. Feel free to add as you see fit:
1. Something is going to fail. The sooner you understand that, the better.
2. When it fails, the kids will roll with it. I've never met a more patient group of teenagers.
3. Kids REALLY want to be in person for live instruction, and I feel for them.

5. Distance Learning is NOT live instruction in a digital format. It's *much* different, and requires more careful planning.

2/n We elites are critical to making this debate glocalized. Thought leadership also involves thought stewardship. Communities form the core of our economies. Blue collar workers must be re-conceived as #newcollar workers. Code is key.
