Whimsical, yet profound, it’s teachings stay with me. Added bonus, my Guru in Neurology finds mention in the text 🙃 I’d recommend this for #mbbs #md and #dm students

Bradley is the standard #textbook in #neurology. A great book, it’s more like #Harrison. Great for information, latest research and management. Essential for the DM #neurology candidate, but also useful for MD #internalmedicine
1. it's too early to assess what happened in #Liverpool:the counter-terrorism police is investigating.I've been fighting a #FOIA case against @metpoliceuk(aka #ScotlandYard)which is denying me access to the documents on 3 ex/current #WikiLeaks journos using anti-terror exemptions
2.The pushback from @metpoliceuk to my Request has been incredible: 4 attempts to block the release of the documents on the 3 ex/current #WikiLeaks journalists: @khrafnsson, Sarah #Harrison,@SwaziJAF. We are now at the London First-tier Tribunal, waiting for the judgement
3.the @metpoliceuk is using #FOIA exemptions which make my lawyers @estelledehon @suigenerisjen
and me to conclude that #ScotlandYard uses methods against the 3 ex/current #WikiLeaks journos that are the same as those used by their Counter Terrorism Command against terrorists

As the first & only #medical student in the extended family, I was in #unfamiliar waters. Moving to uncle's house in another city was a not-too-comfortable but not-wholly-unpleasant change. I'm privileged to be part of a family who did all they could to keep me happy
The pedagogy was #authoritative & #oppressive; seemed to be designed to #humiliate, not teach. I couldn't learn by rote, didn't know of any better ways (pre- ubiquitous smartphone era) Expected to address #seniors using honorifics, I felt they were as unapproachable as teachers

ho ricevuto molti "consigli" di chiudere mia azione legale basata su #FOIA per difendere diritto stampa di accedere a tutti i documenti del caso Julian #Assange e #WikiLeaks. Molti mi hanno "consigliato" di lasciar perdere se non voglio veder distrutta mia professione
