Unlike today, when journalists are speculating on Adani being "targeted", to emerge unscathed soon. 92 scam led to Mehta being treated like a criminal, investigated & arrested by CBI. 70+ offences, with over 600 civil suits, eventually killing him less than a decade later ! 2/6
Journalists speculating about how @narendramodi is being targeted today, brayed for then congress PM Narasimha Rao's blood & @PChidambaram_IN's resignation ! Banks today are as actively involved as they were then. Big difference is that all names were out in the open then ! 3/6

After encountering with one among above case, you opened demat account and put 10K as initial capital.

It was a calm trading day on last trading day of the week and from nowhere price shooted up in some of the contracts disrupting everybody's self esteem!

This is when #chidambaram resigned over #Fairgrowth and there was a media frenzy. Eventually only #shankaranand really bowed out of politics. Every other neta escaped as always!
Nothing captures the madness better than this #scam1992 the Special Court continues to hear scam cases 28 yrs later and the Custodian has become a permanent body!! National Embarrassment -- continues in DHFL, PMC, IL&FS ... eventual action meaningless! @Moneylifers

1) Isn't the same thing happening today formally?
2) Public money through MF / LIC / PF / ETF is going into hyper inflated overvalued equity markets ?
2) offcourse it is now official and as per rules. Mutual funds sahi hai #₹$€

4) did someone think of covering it and closing the stock holdings before Market crashed?
5) Who wld investigate the illegal invoked beneficiaries.. Citibank, RJ, RKD, Kedia etc. etc.
