On April 12, 1304 we have recorded presence of Mathew (emissary of Serbian king Stephen Uroš II Milutin) in #Dubrovnik passing by on a meeting with ban of #Croatia and #Bosnia and master of #Hum Paul I of family #Šubić for the interests of his realm ("na rabotu kraljevstva mi").
Earlier that same month king Milutin wrote to Dubrovnik asking them to prepare a vessel for his emissary and to transport him to the city of #Skradin, where the seat of ban Paul was.

So, we know for a fact that there was a meeting between Croatian ban Paul and emissary of Serbian king Milutin at that time.

Oni su još u 4. stoljeću prije Krista uplovili u Jadran i osnovali nekoliko svojih kolonija, na otocima i obali.

The Siege of Gvozdansko (Croatian: Opsada Gvozdanskog) was a siege of Gvozdansko Castle in the Kingdom of Croatia within Habsburg Monarchy. The battle around Gvozdansko and the siege of the castle lasted from 3 October 1577 to 13 January 1578, #Croatia #Hrvatska #Europe #
between the defending Croatian forces and the invading Ottoman army under the command of Ferhat-paša Sokolović. The battle resulted in an Ottoman victory with heavy losses on the Ottoman side, while all defenders died during the siege.
After the fall of Bulgaria, Serbia and Bosnia, the Ottoman Empire directed its forces towards Hungary and Croatia.
