After being demonized and drained of her financial resources as he dragged her through family court, she was forced to settle and co-parent with her abuser because her lawyer was going to drop her if she couldn't come up with another $17k to cover more expenses.
Keep in mind she had already cashed out her retirement, spending somewhere in the realm of $70k to prove she was abused to the court. She begged the criminal court, the family court, and the police to believe her when she said this man was a danger to her. You need to know that.

#IAmAmberHeard because I told the truth about Cary Fukunaga and was inundated with harassment online, couldn't function for weeks because of it, and after one year and three more women coming forward about him, he has taken no accountability for his actions.
I deleted a lot of the comments and blocked the people who sent me these. But vomit emojis and accusations of "ruining a man's career" were common themes.
This was the story I did that invited people to harass me online. One guy wrote to me that obviously people think I'm making everything up, because I had no career before, but now I might.
