❌ You cannot use if the patient doesn’t trigger the MV
➡️ Intercostal view
➡️ Linear probe
➡️ 8-9 IC space
➡️ Mid axillary line
➡️ 2D then M-Mode
✔️Diaphragm Thickening Fraction: TFdi
✔️ Weaning failure if TFdi < 29%
