1/ 🌐 The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) is a key organization that develops internet standards & protocols. They're behind essential tech like HTTP, TLS, and more. They ensure our digital world runs smoothly, reliably, and securely. #IETF #internetstandards Image
2/ 💡 @Conste11ation is considering forming a working group with the IETF, focused on developing the Hypergraph Transfer Protocol (HGTP). This collaboration would bring together experts to drive HGTP's evolution as a robust, interoperable Web3 protocol. #HGTP #Constellation Image
3/ 🚀 Through this working group, we could see enhancements to HGTP that improve scalability, security, and efficiency. New features could enable more powerful, seamless Web3 experiences and drive greater adoption of decentralized technology. #Web3 #innovation Image

Like seriously, #Crypto bois

Where in any way shape or form do you use one single network today?

Or are you even aware of any network or security protocols you use frictionlessly?

This evolution is happening for public networks, but not the wild West

It's been failure and rugs one after another for years on years, with few successful adopted networks with utility tokens, like #Ethereum

Which is why $qnt is #erc20 for its utility functions, why wouldn't it be on the most popular network.

There's a necessity to " leap frog " 2 decades of friction and limited #interoperability to arrive where we need to be to achieve true real time digital assets across jurisdictions.

Leading solutions as discussed via #WEF, are #API #Gateways

If you're not balls deep into holding $Qnt going into 2023, where #LACChain will be going live with quants Latin American Dollar, aka #MLT, Multi Ledger Tokens - tokenisation to enable roaming money

I am not sure you've been paying attention

World firsts here

#interoperability
But muh #Btc, muh #stablecoin , muh #Xrp , muh traditional finance methods like #Visa.

How about a multichain lightning network like approach where it doesn't matter what you use, because they're all denominated and have values as such.

Why only choose one payment channel/rail
Disintermediation is the future, #btc    $btc enabled a peer to peer payment network with no intermediaries - the beginning of a revolution.

But the evolution has been happening since 2009 and the enabler is #interoperability

For this, I choose $qnt #Qnt #Overledger

🪙FIS & M10 are collaborating for a test CBDC sandbox

While rather swept behind the scenes, theres a lotta connections behind M10 & some SSB's that point towards some HUGE things for $QNT & #TC307

🐇Let's dive down the rabbit hole🧵🔽

ledgerinsights.com/fis-is-latest-…
By now we've heard of @FISGlobal, an $HBAR governing member alongside 26 other large corps.

2 of these members Shinhan Bank🇰🇷 & Standard Bank🇿🇦 have tested X-Border stablecoins on $HBAR about a year ago
Though this collaboration is not using $HBAR, rather its using @m10io network⭕️

💸M10 is a FinTech focused on digital payments & currencies for efficiency in banking networks

Aside from FIS they've also landed some other key partners such as IBM (Another $HBAR member)

Lots of people are sleeping on one the biggest things @quant_network is currently involved in-ODAP (Open Digital Asset Protocol).

So what is exactly #ODAP and why this makes $QNT one of the most significant and, regarding #crypto mcap, undervalued projects?

Time for a THREAD⬇️
1/ODAP is the protocol for communication between gateways, primarily with an enterprise focus.
So banks, central banks etc. would run a gateway in Overledger Network and ODAP would be the protocol for gateways to communicate with each other in a secure and trustless manner. $QNT
2/ #ODAP Interfaces are the open source connectors that will connect a gateway to #blockchains and any existing network / API. That is based on the standards from work done at ISO TC 307 which 57 countries are working towards.
$QNT CEO Gilbert Verdian is the founder of TC307.

Dear @ThomasWinzen and David Weyrauch, in yr @giganetr paper on the @ietf you use the HQs of participants affiliations as an indicator for their nationality. By doing so you're more likely to measure consolidation in the #IETF than anything else.

Many people work for several organizations during their tenure in the #IETF. So their corporate affiliation changes, whereas their nationality does not.

A more reliable indicators would have been the nationalities that are indicated by the authors of Internet Drafts and RFCs.
Especially since arguably all people in leadership positions will have authored at least one Internet Draft.

"DoH" is an expression many associate with this guy 👇👇👇 rather than a web-based encryption technology at the center of political controversy.

1/18
DoH is a controversial technology that obfuscates which websites you look-up (and visit) by encrypting your DNS requests.

Its development recently drawing the ire of telcos, ISPs as well as UK and US regulators.

Now that I have had some time to recover from the fact that the opaque #IETF protocols I study are front-page news, here are some thoughts on DoH from an anthro who spends a lot of time w the companies that develop & implement it.

The REGEXT working group in @ietf is still pushing forward on standardizing third-party verification providers, seriously harming privacy and other human rights.

There have been complaints about @VERISIGN pushing this standards since 2016 !

Eventhough a thorough human rights review has been done by @GurshabadGrover at @cis_india , and many other engaged in the discussion .

In similar tone deaf manner the REGEXT working group now seeks to adopt RDAP reverse search as if the GDPR and the WHOIS debacle did not happen!

Difference between @ICANN and @ietf mailinglists?

Dates I encountered today on #IETF mailinglists:
- January 32 2008
-Jeu 18 March 1904
- 10 May 2036

The things that happen when ppl run their own mailservers 😋🤣😎🙈🤓
