Hugely enjoying the latest bonkers conspiracy theory that Matt Hancock is doing well in #ImACeleb because "the production team is in on it", etc. He's getting votes because he's being a good sport and a team player. Not because there's some grand conspiracy.
I mean, obviously there's an element of "make the fucker eat kangaroo anus and suffer", but I think it's gone beyond that now. If you're not steeped in Twitter and politics, it's easy to see him as a good sport who's mucking in and pulling his weight.
Yes, he shouldn't be there while parliament is sitting. Yes, it's grotesque that he's getting nearly half a million quid for this (divorce is *expensive*, eh). But it is an inspired casting by the #ImACeleb team, and it's paying off.
As Matt Hancock claims he's joined #ImACeleb to 'raise awareness of dyslexia', it feels pertinent to mention that, as Health Secretary, he led a covid response that saw people with learning disabilities being up to 6.4 times more likely to die on average. local.gov.uk/our-support/saā¦
