1) Liminal. Another one of the first products powered by $AZERO.

Liminal isn't just used by Aleph Zero. It can be used on ALL blockchains in true interoperability.

A thread 🧵what "Liminal" is all about and why you should pay attention.

Read on 👇

@Aleph__Zero @AntoniZolciak
2) Liminal is a #Layer2 protocol.

For those that don't what this is let us start with explaining what a #Layer1 is.

A layer 1 is a base blockchain that can validate and finalize transactions without the need for another network.

There's an entire underlying infrastructure.
3) Almost all of the cryptocurrencies launched today NEED a layer to be build on.

They can't function on their own unless they are a layer 1 blockchain themself.

Examples of these are #Ethereum, #BNBChain, #Solana, #fantom,...

🚀✨ Layer 2 Landscape #15 ✨🚀

(1/22) Lots going on in the #L222 #Layer2 #Ethereum space this week! Settle in, I've got a long thread for you! Without further ado, 🧵👇
(2/22) @argentHQ did some research on ZK rollups so you don't have to. Check out this 🧵with some ZK rollup basics!
(3/22) There's a bit of a disagreement going on about whether Celestiums are similar to Layer 2 rollups. I agree with @dankrad that the security guarantees of Celestiums are not comparable. What do you think?

Você sabe a diferença entre

Layer 0
Layer 1
Layer 2?

🧵Irei explicar, mantendo simples ao mesmo tempo! Image

Do you know the difference between
- #Layer0
- #Layer1
- #Layer2 ?

Let's dig out, keeping them simple at the same time. Image
2/14 🧵
Layer 0 - What is that?

Layer 0 is the layer who provide securities and architectures to the Layer 1s.

What these securities Layer 0 provide?
1) Security (securities transactions, security of the chain from attacks).
3/14 🧵
2) Frameworks (solution that simplifies the development, deployment, and support of technically complex products).

1/ Yesterday, I highlighted zkSync.

So it only makes sense that I do the same for @StarkWareLtd and their #Ethereum rollup solutions #L222 #StarkEx and #StarkNet

Another deep-dive thread into one of the projects changing the scaling world 🧵...
2/ First, again, some high-level Pros and Cons
Pros with using Starkware products

- Increased TPS compared to ORs (~9,000+ TPS on Ropsten testnet)
- Faster withdrawals (no challenge period), enabling better capital efficiency and liquidity
- #Validiums (discussed below)
3/ Cons

- Developer UX and porting of dApps from L1 to #L2 is more challenging than OR options
- #Cairo language less popular among developers = less talent pool to build on Starkware
- With Starkware's #Validium option, there's a technical challenge in solving DA problem.
