While we wait for the vote in the US House of Representatives on Articles of Impeachment against Donald J. Trump, I think it is worth taking some time to remember all the hard work that got us to this historic moment. A personal journey of 2019.... #ImpeachmentDay
Accountability began with the #BlueWave2018 in November 2018, where people all over the country said ENOUGH! Voters turned out in massive numbers to give a majority to the @HouseDemocrats. This was no fluke, but a MASSIVE effort by citizens all over America. 
Then the real crazy started, with new offenses every day and a long gov't shutdown driven by Trump's racism and spite. It is here where Trump made his first major attempt to take away the power of the purse away from Congress with his #FakeNationalEmergency.

Why?
There already is a long list of his impeachable offenses. Just last week he was dangling a pardon before Michael Flynn. Last night he was on television saying he would meet with and take help and opposition research from a foreign government without informing the FBI.

Flynn lied to FBI. Trump asked Comey to let it go. Comey did not.
Tried to get K.T. McFarland to draft a letter to indicate that Trump had not told Flynn to talk about sanctions with Russians. McFarland refused.

1-It's important to note that before Nixon resigned the GOP weren't too happy @ him being investigated for the break-in, or @ courting impeachment, but once the hearings were conducted one by one they came around, until finally a group of them went to Nixon and told him that it
2-was imminent. That's what got him to resign. Times are surely different these days, but the Nixon hearings were televised and the sentiment in America gradually changed in favor of Nixon being removed.
