I had dabbled a little prior to that, but in around 1982 I was asked to play drums with a band and after our first practice they handed me the S/T album to practice with and it changed everything for me
Next thing you know I was listening to punk and hip-hop in equal measure....post-punk, going to shows, playing in bands....making new friends from all over the country...one of the best periods of discovery in my life
¿Puede alguien olvidar en qué gastó el primer billete que ganó en su vida? Yo no. Porque la primera vez que cobré un peso, fui y compré este disco de The Clash que aún conservo y quiero. El #InternationalClashDay me hizo acordar de esta anécdota. 
Ese mismo disco sonó en muchas de las radios en las que trabajé. De hecho eso sirvió para seguir conmigo: estaba en una mochila cuando entraron a robar a casa y se llevaron todos los otros álbumes de mi, por entonces, naciente colección.
Debe ser por eso que le tengo un cariño especial. Los mensajes de @AlbiCabrera desde @kexp me hicieron acordar de esto.
