Here are top 10 facts you didn’t know about the new Dangote Oil Refinery.

It has been a long 7 years! The Dangote Oil Refinery has finally been completed. It will be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari on the 24th of this month (January) 2023.
1 - The Dangote Oil and Petrochemical Complex is a 650,000 BPD oil refinery. It is the largest single train oil refinery on the planet, the largest in Africa, the 7th largest oil refinery in the world.
2 - Mr Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man, announced he would build a refinery in 2013, at that time, it costed $9 billion. It was not untill 2016 that construction started.

Last week, in Anambra State (Igbariam, Anambra East LGA): Coscharis Group opened its new 120,000 metric tonnes per annum Rice Mill. A PPP with the State Government. #InvestNigeria
.@cenbank supported this venture with a 2 billion Naira loan to Coscharis, from the Commercial Agricultural Credit Scheme (CACS). According to Gov Emefiele, Coscharis has already repaid 800 million of the N2 billion.
Construction of the Mill started 2016/2017, it was a follow-up/adjunct project to Coscharis’ 2,000 hectare Rice Farm.

Today VP @ProfOsinbajo Commissioned an LPG Cylinder Manufacturing Plant, built by Techno Oil, in Lekki, Lagos.

According to the Company, “At full capacity, the plant will produce over 5 million units of standard LPG cylinders annually for Nigeria and markets in West Africa.”

Nigeria’s List of ‘Pioneer Status’ Incentives -tax holiday for qualifying new companies - WAS LAST REVISED IN 2006. It has now been updated & expanded, & GAZETTED.
