Is it possible that after the 60 Minutes piece with the Facebook whistleblower last night, Facebook anticipated receiving government letters requesting preservation of records (standard prelude to investigation), so Facebook shut down today to scrub its databases?
So the DOJ and FTC should immediately issue preservation of records requests to Facebook for all matters pertaining to the subject matter of the whistleblower revelations, effective immediately. #InvestigateFacebook
Correction: not necessarily or just the databases. Scrub internal company emails and memoranda — and make it impossible for employees to save or print emails, by locking them out of their email.
