2. She was a legit triple threat: dancing in the classic “the darker the berry, the sweeter the juice” scene AND giving a brilliant/real/devastating performance when she is manipulated into exposing herself to a photographer. And, of course, that voice.

3. She should have done film after film and, of course, more Broadway. She did become a legit pop star and her music will live on. I never met her, but, boy, did she influence me and so many of my generation.
