How can anyone who claim to be Indian name their children Taimur or Babur, invaders who killed so many inhabitants of our land.
Why this love for Mughals & over emphasis on their rule when Mughal power was at its peak only from 1526 (invasion by Babur) to 1707 (Aurangzeb killed)
#Taimur incidentally was lame. Taimur-Lang (or Langra).
One of the most brutal tyrants with a long history of massacres where ever he ruled.
1387 to put down a rebellion in #Ishfahan he is reported to have ordered massacre of 70000+ people. Several pyramids of human skulls made.
Pyramids of human skulls were not restricted to #Ishfahan.
1385 the #Sistan revolt was put down & human skulls and in some instances human bodies mixed with brick & clay used to erect a minaret to send out a clear message to those who rose against him.
In 1398 he attacked Delhi
