You graduated from IIT but got offered Rs 6 lakh CTC? Didn’t everyone expect you to get crore plus? Who will pay for your loan?

A story I have wanted to write for years-About IITians tweaking resume, taking coding classes, changing fields but barely getting placed.

@livemint
There are 23 IITs today. About 2 lakh sit for #JEE exams,16k IITians graduate.

But India Inc wants coders, quant, software lot. What about chemical/mechanical? They take extra classes;learn software & move away from their field to bag a job after #IIT

livemint.com/news/india/iit…
A story of two sets of IITs. The older established ones may get more recruiters but also have larger batches to place.

The new #IITs are scampering for recruiters. Some have dialled placement agencies.

@TauseefShahidi thanks for all the help.

A #journey to unknown! 🥰✌️

Nobody can help you out
It's only you, who can help yourself
To stay up, to stay motivated, to not fall, and to get up stronger even if you fall
You're the only one to lift yourself up
You're the only one to wipe your tears
As only you know what you're going through
Believe me
It's a journey to make you stronger and better
To help you cross bigger obstacles in future
These things won't even matter few years from now
But for now it does, and I understand the pain
But nobody else will, feel the same as you do
So only you can cure it
By putting a smile on your face
And getting back on track with more /confidence and determination

#ICYMI | India’s education sector is poised to grow from the current $117 billion to $225 billion by FY25.

Here’s how just one day in India’s edtech sector panned out.

businessinsider.in/business/start…

By @SanchDash
@SanchDash India is home to the world’s most valued #edtech startup and has a burgeoning list of unicorns from the sector. Even Indian venture capitalists believe that it’s a sector to watch out for in 2021.
@SanchDash And if that were not enough, the world’s richest man #JeffBezos is eyeing the edtech segment in India, apart from his already bullish e-commerce giant #Amazon.

Dr. @Swamy39 Ji, I would like to place some facts on the record regarding #JEE(Main) exams.
The number of applicants for #JEEMains stands at 8.58 lakhs, not 18 lakhs as you tweeted.
Out of 8.58 lakh #JEEMains applicants, 6.35 lakhs appeared for the exam. Central & respective State Governments assured all possible assistance to the students, for which I compliment all State Governments as well. This entire effort displayed the spirit of cooperative federalism
#JEEMains Exams are held twice in a year. The previous one was held in January this year. Several students who didn't appear for the exam in Sept may have done well in the January exam hence did not feel the need to sit for the exam this time. We are ascertaining those numbers.

In last 3 years, I have regularly exposed the shenanigans of Dr. Subramanian Swamy..Like me, a few more handles viz. @AparBharat @GarvPe @tanmayj41128048 @alap003319 @mgnayak5 ; are also hard core supporters of PM Modi & dislike Dr. Swamy for his treacherous+

+ behaviour..From time to time, they too are exposing Dr. Swamy for his duplicity..To show himself better qualified than PM Modi, he has been persistently opposing policies & administrative decisions of Modi govt..He has been belittling PM Modi continously..He thinks he is+

+ more deserving than Narendra Modi to sit on the chair of Prime Minister.
Since, he has no backers for the post of PM, he along with his band of supporters in #VHS , are constantly targetting PM Modi & some of his ministers especially, Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman.

(1) #ArnabGoswami has undoubtedly contributed towards #JusticeForSushant but pls understand that #Republic or any channel for that matter is not 'the voice of the public'. The voice of the public is our voice. They're just a medium & like it or not, they're controlled by money.
(2) #Republic would have covered the #NEET #JEE issue much more if they were the voice of the public. Fact is that Republic has very strong backing from the Centre. sometimes they carry out anti-BJP news, but they do not use the same tone that they use for anti-Congress news
(3) Modi is shrewdly smart & Shah is smarter. They would have sided with the students & cancelled #NEET #JEE but the students are not currently a voter base. But their parents are voters & parents want exams to happen. So, despite the uproar, Centre is conducting exams.
