1. Las Variaciones Goldberg son mi obra musical para teclado favorita compuesta por J.S Bach en 1741. Me obsesioné con esta obra cuando escuché el aria y la primera variación en "El paciente inglés". Abro hilo sobre las diferentes versiones que he coleccionado con los años.
2. La primera versión para piano completa que escuché del aria y las 30 variaciones fue la de Glenn Gould en 1955, cuando era un joven virtuoso del piano y quería tocar una versión lo más fiel posible a la partitura de Bach.
3. En 1982 Gould volvió a interpretar las variaciones. Es su mejor versión. La más personal de todas. Tanto se apropió Gould de la obra que ratos se le escucha tarareando la melodía.
