A Texas judge ruled on Thursday that Jeff Younger is entitled to a say in his seven-year-old son James’s gender-transition process.

Georgulas had previously insisted on pursuing James’s gender transition, and was backed by counselors and therapists who testified on her behalf that he is transgender.
Another older thread that may prove useful to those new to the uproar about child transition, in light of the #JamesYounger verdict. This one focuses on companies that market items to conceal toddler boys' genitalia--as well as do-it-yourself strategies employed by some parents.
Although the controversy is about a little boy named #JamesYounger, the same thing is going on with little girls. Online companies are making $$ selling "packers" (fake penises) to parents of kids as young as 4 years old. Clearly there's a market for it.
Rubber penises for tiny FTMs, tucking underwear for preschool MTFs...this would all come under the moniker of social transition. Totally reversible, harmless, "follow the child's lead"? You decide.

1. Social transition (what James’ mom & her “affirmative” allies promote) is not the same as simply allowing a child to choose haircuts, clothing, or toys. Social transition = everyone around the child endorses that the child is “really” the opposite sex and/or in the wrong body.
2. With full social transition, everyone is told they MUST use opp-sex pronouns, new name, & avoid mentioning (or validating) the child's bio sex. Some parents have even changed the birth certificate of their very young children.
