Worryingly for the U.K., @BorisJohnson is looking like he is seeking to appease @realDonaldTrump in the manner in which Neville Chamberlain appeased Hitler in Munich in the lead up to WW2. The relationship is now seriously warped as evidenced by the #annesacoolas affair. Image
This is what a real leader looks like in the face of an oppressor and someone who stood up to a bully. What’s has happened to our bulldog spirit? We need people in power who are going to fight for our rights. #justice4harry Image
We cannot afford to be Donald Trump’s poodle, but that is who Boris has become, to our cost. Boris’ Government let #annesacoolas go unlawfully in the face of bullying from the US Govt. We need leaders who are going to do something about it. Leaders who have no fear. #harrydunn Image

The month or so between #HarryDunn's passing and the Great British public getting right behind the campaign for #justice4harry will I am afraid go down in history as one of this nation’s darkest moments in terms of how it treats its citizens. The reasons why both the Trump...
admin and the Johnson admin behaved the appalling manner in which they did will soon come into sharp focus. We all have the courage and tenacity of Harry's family in the most horrific of circumstances imaginable to thank for reminding us what both nations...
really stand for. In doing so, they are ensuring that what happened to them will never happen again.

'Dominic Raab must resign or be sacked': Harry Dunn's parents on their long fight for justice theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/m…
Incredible feature written for The Guardian by @shattenstone. Unimaginable that this family are being tortured in this way in 21stC Britain, one of the greatest countries in the world. Team Harry will ensure they get much needed closure one day when #annesacoolas is back and all
Those responsible for letting her go are held to account. In meantime the media continue to do their important work speaking truth to power. On this occasion ITN’s reporting last Wednesday night was crucial in the search for the truth.

As Team Harry moves into the next phase of the campaign for #justice4harry just a couple explainers to help set the scene.

1. It is for the police to establish who has diplomatic immunity. Not the Foreign Office. cps.gov.uk/legal-guidance… Image
2/ Misconduct in Public Office, or Abuse of Power is committed when:
a public officer;
wilfully neglects to perform his duty and/or wilfully misconducts himself;
to such a degree as to amount to an abuse of the public's trust in the office holder;
3/ without reasonable excuse or justification.

1/ Viewers of @GMB will remember that @BorisJohnson has consistently refused to appear on the show for fear of having to face totally appropriate questioning by @piersmorgan and @susannareid100 who's job it is to hold politicians to account on our behalf. To that end on 11.12.19
2/ reporter @SwainITV went to interview Boris who had previously promised he would appear on the show, when this happened 👇@piersmorgan @susannareid100

theguardian.com/politics/2019/…
3/ Allow me to introduce you to Boris' minder that day, Mr Rob Oxley, who took a serious dislike to Jonathan Swain and who's behaviour that morning frankly was rather unbecoming, certainly for a PM's Press Secretary, which position he held at the time. Not British at all!

A mahoosive 36 hours for the #Justice4harry campaign. Reminder: British authorities conclude #AnneSacoolas did not have diplomatic immunity and circulate a Red Notice. She is a fugitive on the run and would be arrested and extradited to the UK should she set foot outside the USA
2/ Should @realDonaldTrump refuse to extradite her now he will be forever known as a harbourer of fugitives. State Dept say Pompeo's rejection of the extradition request in January was final. As we all know, that is a lie. USA have already recognised that this will be decided..
3/ in the Court in London. @lisanandy calls on @DominicRaab to answer questions in the HoC urgently. There have been serious failings in the FCO, breach of legal protocol and what is going to be done to bring Mrs Sacoolas back? Team Harry focusing in on misconduct in public..

Harry Dunn development: I understand that the FCO has waived the diplomatic immunity of 13 Britons arrested in the United States since 1999. This has not been reciprocated. Tell me more about that 'special relationship'... dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8… Image
Told there was 'surprise and disappointment' inside the FCO last September because of this stat when Sacoolas waiver was rejected.. Naive? Image
Chairman of @CommonsForeign committee @TomTugendhat: 'Any score that ends up 13-0 makes it look like the ref is biased. We need to make sure our friends in the US are playing by the same rules. If they're not, nor should we.'

Important update on #HarryDunn #Justice4Harry

Harry's parents, Charlotte and Tim, have today issued a Judicial Review claim against the Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab.

A summary of the case follows in this thread and is in the update here uk.gofundme.com/f/Justice4harry /1
I am acting for Harry's family in the case, led by @DoughtyStreet's Geoffrey Robertson QC instructed by @MarksLarks

Below is a summary. Court documents including our pleadings will be published in due course.

Here's how you can support: uk.gofundme.com/f/Justice4harry
@DoughtyStreet @MarksLarks The family's solicitors received a letter from Dominic Raab's solicitors yesterday confirming Foreign Office will attempt to obtain the full costs of the case from Harry's parents. This could expose the family to a liability of tens of thousands of pounds.

Statement issued today on behalf of Harry Dunn’s parents:
1/ #HarryDunn’s parents are livid at the Foreign Secretary’s comments on Sky News this morning. They are not engaged in some frivolous vexatious litigation frolic of their own against the FCO. Quite the opposite.
2/ They are British Citizens who have had their entitlement to justice robbed from them by the US Government under the watch of Mr Raab and the FCO. Mr Raab knows perfectly well that Mrs Sacoolas never had diplomatic immunity.
3/ He has lied to the parents before and he is now lying to the nation. The parents are entitled to answers and the truth. If he is so concerned about taxpayers’ money in the litigation then he would come and talk to us to find a resolution rather than risking having the...
