To create a child-friendly healthcare system, the Paediatrics Department of the #RajindraGovernmentHospital in Patiala has started a toy bank initiative at the Mother and Child Healthcare department.
"This will help increase a child’s ability to cope with the fear of hospital visits and admission. It will also reduce stress and anxiety, which ultimately assists in healing.", says Dr Harjinder, who conceptualised the idea of a #toybank.

I was caught a bit off guard at the Zionsville Seniors night for the woman's soccer team. It was a beautiful event where the seniors were introduced along with their families.
I was caught a bit off guard at the Zionsville Seniors night for the woman's soccer team. It was a beautiful event where the seniors were introduced along with their families.
Each senior provided their college or next step after high school, a favorite quote, and their most memorable soccer memory. They then played recordings from old coaches, friends, families, neighbors, and anyone else. Some were brief, while others were longer and hilarious.
What stood out to me the most was our kids' memories, the values they hold tightest, and their impact didn’t include any scores. Many groups have been vocal about focusing on core academia, stopping with all the emotional and feeling stuff, and getting back to educating.

In response, we sent volunteers searching for Asra near the video location. Our volunteer team continually searched and posted about her on social media for over a month to no avail until finally, this week, we tracked her down with help from Maki Ahmadi (who posted the clip).
Asra lives in a tiny dwelling with her family in Kabul. They were displaced from Mazar after the political shift in the country. Asra's father is sick and unable to support the family, leaving Asra the sole breadwinner. Their living condition is beyond heart-wrenching.
