In Ph2 water has lifted from Saraswathi pumphouse at Annaram Barrage( FRL +119) with storage capacity of 10.87TMC via lift & Gravity canal to Sundilla Barrage which is at +130 FRL & 8.83TMC storage capacity.

One of the major spin-off benefits of #KaleshwaramProject is the big boom it is creating in the fisheries sector. Ample availability of water in small & large tanks and huge support from the state govt is leading to a steady increase in fish and prawn production in Telangana 1/3
This year, Telangana Fisheries is expected to cross production of 3.2 Lakh Tonnes of freshwater fish and upwards of 15,000 Tonnes of freshwater prawns. 2/3
What's more, Fisheries Dept ensured that 3 Lakh+ fishermen sustain their livelihoods by helping them harvest, ship, and retail fish in these tough times. Kudos to Minister Sri @YadavTalasani & Dept of Fisheries for this transformation under the leadership of CM Sri KCR 3/3

కాళేశ్వరం లిఫ్ట్ ఇరిగేషన్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ ప్రపంచంలోనే అతి పెద్ద లిఫ్ట్ ఇరిగేషన్ ప్రాజెక్ట్. మొత్తం 3 బ్యారేజీలు, 1531 కి.మీ. గ్రావిటీ కెనాల్స్, 203 కి.మీ. టన్నెల్స్, 19 పంపు హౌస్‌లు, 20 రిజర్వాయర్లు మొత్తం 147 టీఎంసీల సామర్థ్యంతో మొత్తం 45 లక్షల ఎకరాలకు సాగునీటిని అందిచే ప్రాజెక్ట్.
కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టులో భాగంగా నిర్మించిన 3 బ్యారేజిలలో మొట్టమొదటిది లక్ష్మి (మేడిగడ్డ) బ్యారేజి. జయశంకర్ భూపాలపల్లి జిల్లా మహాదేవపూర్ మండలంలో గోదావరి నదిపై 16.17 టీఎంసీల సామర్థ్యంతో, 1.6 కిలోమీటర్ల పొడవుతో, 85 గేట్లతో నిర్మించారు.
