Anyone that knows a lot about the middle east want to help me out with some bots/trolls?
They don't like #Iran or #Qatar
I found them while looking at the #Russia hashtag, they are either bots or a coordinated trolls. Haven't figured it out yet.
I highlighted them here in the tweets I pulled for #russia
They all use the same naming convention, have similar creation dates, and similar "stats', they also have very similar descriptions.
Regular twitter data never looks like that.
After pulling a timeline for about 20 of them you can see they are tweeting close to the same thing at the same time.

Are we going to build our ENTIRE Middle Eastern philosophy around the life or death of ONE “so called” journalist who had, in point of fact, NO GREEN CARD, who made it a practice to rile & irritate the Royal Family of Saud & one son in particular? Does anyone
2/ know EXACTLY what #Kashoggi was doing? Why is it any of OUR business how they exact judgement on their own people? A human outrage, you say? Yes, so is FGM, stoning women, so is sex with children, & Sharia Law. As long as it does not not infringe upon our laws & lives, who
3/ are we to tell these countries what to do? Unless or until it affects us directly, what they do in their own countries is their own business. We don’t NEED to go looking for trouble. We certainly have enough here.

The holier than thou US section of twitter really is something. Let's pretend the US became an immoral hellhole once Trump was elected; ignore decades of war crimes, torture, election meddling, anti-democracy coups, and human trafficking all which have never seen a day in court.
Things were so great before Trump that the US was not...
>Torturing and raping at least 300 children in Bagram Afg. ( It was)
>Executing people by drone without trial (It was)
>Sponsoring Right Wing Fascism in SAmer. (It was)
>Backing dictators vs democracy activists (It was)
Perhaps Trump isn't the only problem the United States needs to amend or hold themselves accountable for. The entire country needs to hold up a mirror and see that Trump is simply put the reflection which has been staring them in the face all along.

1. IMO when @realDonaldTrump said today @CIA has not briefed him on #Khashoggi he was lying. More likely than not @Trump is saying he hasn't been been brief to deflect inquiry from him, appointees or someone like @DevinNunes who likely leaked it for him. This week Trump had 2 PDB
2. If someone at @CIA or a member of the intel committees leaked classified PDB material to the press that's a crime. A big one. Where's the leak investigation @WhiteHouse @FBIWFO? Remember what happened to @FoxNews' correspondent James Rosen? (@JamesRosenTV NB he blocks me).
3. DOJ was strongly criticized for Rosen's electronic surveillance though Rosen had been receiving illegally leaked NatSec secrets. Wiki: "Kim entered a guilty plea to a single felony count of disclosing classified national defense information to an unauthorized person, Rosen."

#Kashoggi was a dissident using his position as a journalist to criticize official Saudi policy. But, #SaudiArabia is an absolute monarchy. Dissent is not part of the deal between the ruler and his subjects. Of the 22 members of Arab League, 14 are Republics & 8 are Monarchies =>
2-It has been much easier to govern the 8 Monarchies of the Arab world than the region's 14 Republics. Citizens of the Monarchies could only watch as the throne was passed from father to son or from one brother to another.
3-This is not to say that the unlucky14 Republics who were bequeathed or transformed themselves into republics after the departure of their colonial rulers have behaved like true parliamentarian or Presidental Republics. True election cycles have hardly ever been credible

"Last year, the kingdom announced plans to invest $20 billion in a private US-focused infrastructure fund managed by Blackstone Group, an investment firm led by CEO Stephen Schwarzman. Blackstone stock rose on the news."
"Earlier this year, Trump unveiled a $200 billion federal plan to fix the nation’s airports, roads, highways, and ports, tapping private companies for help and selling off some government-owned infrastructure."

Wow.
Remember? #Kashoggi was the right-hand man for Prince Al Waleed bin Talal - who owns a controlling stock in twitter and who was arrested for corruption crackdown in the Saudi Government. cnbc.com/2017/11/04/bil…
Bin Talal is a very prominent investor with stakes in companies like Citigroup, Apple and Twitter, just to name a few.
#Kashoggi Khashoggi was appointed as general manager of the Al Arab news channel, which was owned by Prince Alwaleed bin Talal and operated out of Manama, Bahrain.

Jared Kushner and #Kashoggi thread:
How can Kushner be investigated for alleged corrupt ties to Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar?
The Foreign Emoluments clause arguably applies to Kushner as Senior Advisor ot the President as an "office of trust." (But it's complicated)... 1/
2/ Foreign Emoluments Clause: "No Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under [the US] shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State."
3/ Is an unpaid Senior Advisor an "office of trust"? There is historical debate about the scope of this phrase, and courts have not resolved this question. But in 1982, the OLC (the DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel) suggested broad coverage: justice.gov/file/22956/dow…

Biggest un-covered story is the old anti-Israel network of phony journalists, NGOs and think tanks shifting their fire & taking aim aggressively at Saudi Arabia—just when the Turks, Iranians and Qataris want them to. It’s really transparent if you’ve followed the ME.
The #Kashoggi story is information warfare. We still know nothing other than what some *very* untrustworthy sources are feeding sympathetic media outlets. There needs to be an independent investigation.
A very pro-MB NYT reporter pushing a narrative that the Saudis lured this dissident to the consulate only to kill and *dismember* him is, frankly, pretty unlikely in its absolute stupidity. If it happened like that, it’s totally insane. But I can’t imagine anyone being so stupid.

#Khashoggi Case Thread: I am going to ‘pin’ this post to use it as an ‘Info Thread’ on the #Khashoggi Case. I am in #Turkey. I’ve been following the case closely and with access to sources & experts here. This is a very ‘sensitive’ criminal case due to ‘Diplomatic Booby Traps’!!!
The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.
