“In a bid to align with the “Smart City” vision of Lagos & achieve the “Better Lagos” dream, the Lagos State Traffic Mgt Authority has adopted an innovative & technologically advanced way to support its operations in the State with the newly introduced Traffic Mgt Solution (TMS).
A meet-the-press forum to unveil TMS took place on Friday, 6th of December, 2019 and was hosted by the Comptroller of LASTMA, Isaac Adetimiro, where an overview of the solution was presented -
starting with the real time capture of picture and video evidence of traffic violations as they occur, by LASTMA officials using handheld devices.

For months now we have been engaging the authorities on traffic management being the first agenda of the new @followlasg admin. I’m however proud to say that Mr Governor is responding & all relevant agencies are harmonizing efforts towards a reform. #EndGoSlow #KeepLagosMoving 🚔
While we acknowledge the fact that there is a new sheriff in town we believe that holding authorities to account in service to the populace is sacrosanct thus the insistence on sanitizing the engagement of law enforcement officers, while public orientation is reinforced.
Government’s first responsibility is to ensure the roads are rehabilitated, drainages cleated, road markings and signages made visible and explained across platforms to ensure ease of operation & enforcement void of unconscionable belligerence, oppression & human rights abuses.
