It's Tuesday and also Day 412 of #Russia's illegal war, welcome to my daily🧵

So far today it's very quiet in terms of news. But there was quite a lot happening yesterday. If you missed anything, take a quick scroll through Monday's thread here.

The daily losses published by #Ukraine show that #Russia has now lost a total of 600 aircraft as I reported yesterday when another fighter helicopter was downed.

500 more troops met their end too, all for a few metres of muddy land and Putin's ego.

Here's the daily update from #London too, which again indicates how quiet things are... but one of my followers in particular will be furious with another use of the word "likely" instead of "probably"😅 Image

Welcome to Thurday's Daily Thread covering #Russia's war on #Ukraine

We've reached Day 344 of the conflict which Putin said would be over in 10 days, and which would have ended long ago had the current western support started 10 months ago.

But it's another bad start to the day
A fairly quiet Wednesday ended with more death with a terrorist attack on the eastern city of #Kramatorsk in the #Donetsk region.

An update on that in the next tweet, but if you missed anything, here's the link for yesterday's thread:

#StopRussia

#Russia's terrorist attack on #Kramatorsk has left 3 dead and 21 now known to be injured (the total's just been updated).

A short while ago the local council released this video detailing the 1 February attack and ending with the words "we will overcome everything together🇺🇦"

Miracle Baby Boom in #Khabarovsk

Despite the mobilization of all men in the village of Khabarovsk, a Holly miracle is happening in the community.

“Men left more than a year ago, even the mayor and yet...”, - Svetlana

Despite the absence of all men, hundreds of women are pregnant without having sex for so long, a miracle similar to the Mother of God!!!

“The children being delivered have all a dark tone skin. Could it be that Christ, son of Russian God, was also black skinned?”, - Ivana

“The population in #Khabarovsk was declining, but despite the special operation, the population might increase in the next months.

I thank the Lord to have given hope to thousands of women aged from 12 to 83 years old!” - Samuel N’gobo, High Priest of Khabarovsk church

Almost the weekend, this is Friday's daily thread with all the news, views + analysis as #Russia attacks #Ukraine

It's Day 212 of the war

There's an update to the Ukraine fundraiser. We hope to get one of these alongside the winter clothing. If you can help, see my pinned tweet Image
As usual a link to yesterday's thread as a few of you tell me you like to check up on the news in one place.

Another fairly quiet day in terms of attacks and missiles, although just before Thursday ended, #Zaporizhzhia suffered a bad attack:

#Mobilization is still the big talking point in #Russia

This is a scene from #Makhachkala in the republic of #Dagestan. A big convoy of fresh convicts, sorry conscripts.

Woman can be heard wailing, knowing they may never see loved ones again.

Day 52 since #Russia decided it would be fun to obliterate its neighbour. They're still trying.

No matter the human cost, Putin doesn't want peace; he never did.

#Ukraine army losses announced, another airport damaged overnight + top trolling from🇺🇦Defence, all in the daily🧵⬇️
I'll start with the news that President @ZelenskyyUa admitted #Ukraine's losses in the war for the first time.
He told CNN that 2,500-3,000 members of his armed forces had lost their lives and about 10,000 more injured.
Russia claimed 36,000 🇺🇦soldiers have been killed.
Intriguing news from #Mariupol where some more #Ukraine fighters have managed to break through a Russian line to hook up with the bulk of the remaining Resistance in the Azovstal complex.

Russia says almost all were killed, but I think over 100 made it: awaiting confirmation.
