It's also about my 60-something-yr-old friend who cycles into town because walking is too painful on their joints. #KidicalMass

Die Infrastruktur darf man nicht außer Acht lassen. Die größte Gefahr für Kinder im Straßenverkehr geht von Autos aus. Die Infrastruktur ist vor allem auf die Leichtigkeit des Autoverkehrs ausgelegt. Schnell und ungestört, nicht sicher für Kinder, sollen Autos fahren können. 2/
Kinder in ihrer Mobilität und Freiheit einzuschränken darf nur eine kurzfristige Notlösung sein. Eine Notlösung, die Autoverkehrsverbände schon viel zu lange fördern. Der Autoverkehr müsste sich viel mehr den Bedürfnissen aller Menschen, also auch Kindern, anpassen. 3/
