Pediatric #COVID hospitalization rates are very similar to past flu seasons. One could argue that the rates are actually lower as studies have show around 40 percent of kids in the hospital are there for other reasons.

A study published in the peer-reviewed journal Hospital Pediatrics finds nearly 40% of COVID-19 cases were asymptomatic and about 45% of those hospital admissions were categorized as unlikely to be caused by the virus.
