En attendant les 1eres remontées, je voudrais en profiter pour analyser la stratégie d’entre deux tours d’#Erdoğan qui me semble caractéristique de sa philosophie politique nationaliste depuis 20 ans :
Tandis que #Kilicdaroğlu a exploité à fond le discours anti-Syriens, #Erdoğan a eu des déclarations claires sur le fait qu’il ne "mettrait pas dehors" ses "frères syriens"
C’est vrai, il perdrait ainsi un de ses leviers de chantage sur l’#UE, mais c’est plus profond que ça :

Effectivement, aujourd’hui, les cadres du parti peuvent s’en donner à cœur joie.
Et les journalistes indépendants turcs en deviennent des ennemis du peuple, alors qu’ils sont plus que jamais nécessaires et souffrent d’une mise sous coupe de la presse libre.

Je n’ai pas cru une seconde que c’était la fin du règne d’#Erdoğan ; en prenant mon risque d’une erreur de diagnostique, car il y a malgré tout une élection, avec une campagne inéquitable, mais un réel scrutin, et peu de fraudes (habituellement).

The head of Iyi Party Meral Aksener also called on mayors of Istanbul and Ankara to run against Erdogan in the upcoming election and announced the party won't support Kilicdaroglu's candidacy.
For context, the split is likely to weaken the opposition coalition because now they don't have the support of nationalists (represented by IYI) or the Kurds (represented by HDP).
