A fire broke out on Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. The national park tweeted last night that emergency services were trying to put out the fire. As the newspaper "The Citizen" reports, people from neighboring communities helped.

The extinguishing work is difficult because the fire broke out at a greater height. One photo shows flames in the middle of the mountain.
The damage they have done so far is still unclear. At 5895 meters, Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
When I was young, I always wished I would get to, atleast, the bottom of the mountain, the magnificent Mt. KENYA

At age 25, I had already set foot on the base of the mountain.
