#Russia attacked #Ukraine with another small wave of drones last night.

There are no signs of damage, although Ukraine reports only shooting down five of the UAVs, all hit by air defence in #Poltava region.

Meanwhile reports of explosions in occupied #Crimea.

There may have been two separate attacks on #Russia's invaders with chat sites full of messages asking what the loud bangs were.

Yläasteella ja lukiossa käydään läpi suomen sukukieliä ja kielistä annetaan oppilaille näytteitä, jotka ovat usein tylsiä ja oppilaiden keskittymiskykyä venyttelee mm. huonolaatuiset haastatteluvideot.
On välillä vaikeaa löytää sugrikielillä laulettua musiikkia netistä, koska monet löytyvät helpommin venäjänkielisillä hakusanoilla kuin suomeksi.

Osa kielinäytteistä saattaa olla sinällään tylsähköä ja luoda mielikuvaa kielistä kuolevina ja vain vanhusten puhumina.
Joistain kielistä on mahdotonta tai ainakin hyvin vaikeaa löytää minkäänlaisia musiikkinäytteitä, saati litterointeja tai translitterointeja opetuksen tueksi. Joistain kielistä ainoana vaihtoehtona on esitellä sitä mitä löytyy.

#OTD in 1940, the USSR began the third wave of deportations from Polish eastern borderlands occupied by the Soviets on Sept. 17, 1939.This deportation targeted Polish civilians who fled from western to eastern Poland following the German invasion of #Poland on Sept. 1, 1939.#WWII
Also targeted were professionals, merchants, the intelligentsia, and those who did not accept Soviet passports. Roughly 80 percent of these deportees were Jewish; the remainder included Poles, Belarusians, and Ukrainians.
In December 1939, the USSR and Germany agreed to repatriate refugees from their respective occupied Polish territories. Those in the Soviet zone who wished to return to the German zone were required to register with the German authorities and vice versa.

164,000 people applied to leave the Soviet zone, but Germany only accepted 66,000. The #NKVD then ordered the deportation of refugees who applied to return to #Germany but were not accepted by the German authorities. #WWII
