2/5 Story starts with a HIT & RUN case which happened on June 21st. An early morning accident on National Highway in #Kozhikode! Car which hd Gangsters involved in GOLD smuggling hit a truck which belonged to their counterparts who wr carrying smuggled gold. Turf war!
3/5 FIVE people died that day. And soon Arjun Ayanki (CPIM) was arrested. Apparently he hd gone to Kozhikode airport to take gold consignment smuggled by a carrier, but was meant for another gang. Talk abt smugglers getting desperate! So how is this case related to Tele Ph ex?

1. The first permanent movie theatre in #Kerala was set up in #Thrissur by Kattookkaran Varunny Joseph (as Jos Bioscope Projections), following his bioscope shows at #ThrissurPooram. It exists today as Jos Theatre in the heart of the city in the Round.
2. One of the projectors used by Joseph was exhibited for a long time at #Sapna in Thrissur, a theatre founded by his family. It was finally handed over to the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy in 2020. Sapna, incidentally, took life as Rama Varma theatre in the 1930s.
