Hey fam, I have an update on a story.

Remember the Black man who was bringing in his trash can when the #LAPD kidnapped him after a white woman called 911 on her white boyfriend?

Today a judge removed the protective order on the video the LAPD didn’t want you to see.
Here’s the second half of the video.
You can find the video on YouTube here 👉🏾 iamjasmyne.com/she-called-911… Image

#Tacoma must be different. I've absolutely never seen "afraid they would break glass" as justification for the use of deadly force. I have, however, frequently seen "attempted to ram with a car" as justification for *police* killing other people.

Fuck you, @TacomaPD
Here's @seattletimes playing telephone and reinventing a direct quote, “He was afraid they would break his glass,” as the police use-of-force justifying "The officer drove away because *he feared for his safety*, Haddow said." seattletimes.com/seattle-news/t…

This. Is. Horrifying.

Inside the Capitol siege: How barricaded lawmakers and aides sounded urgent pleas for help as police lost control washingtonpost.com/politics/insid…
When I was Assembly presiding officer I worked closely w/our sergeant at arms. And when I introduced the bill to end Open Carry I had to travel with armed escorts to public events. There is no excuse for this type of breakdown of security in a professional law-enforcement body
This reminds me of an event in 2017 #ProudBoys began harassing attendees at an event in #SanDiego at the @SanDiegoCounty Admin Bldg. Deputies stood & watched so I called @SDSheriff Bill Gore on his cellphone & asked him: Why are your Deputies letting Proud Boys incite fights? 3/

#LAPD I usually don't comment on local news but this police brutality/lack of action extreme case needs to get out in the world and be addressed as it is unacceptable, absurd and might be a provocation. An almost bipolar pattern. Thread.
1. #LAPD attacked peaceful BLM protestors who gathered by the LA Mayor's residence for 13 days. They used batons on people as seen in the videos above and here.
2. #LAPD This was a peaceful gathering, with children and pets present. Right before the attack, video.

LAPD rally today at the LAPD Academy— hello Proud Boy. LAPD breaks up #fight between a Proud Boy and BLM. Proud Boy assumes BLM is all fatherless and finds that hilarious (noted at the end of video)

New Video:

- Date: 9/10/2020
- Location: Burger King (Sunset and La Brea)

Suspect was subdued by a security guard, held for 5 mins on the floor, and had suspect calm. Then the @LAPDHollywood screwed everything up & got humiliated —leading to this.

Thread of incident (1/?)
Suspect jumped a counter in a fast food restaurant and stole some cell phones. Helicopters in air searching, so may have been a search for him.

Suspect runs through parking lot, with restaurant owners *chasing with poles*.
Store owners corner suspect in fast food restaurant. It was at this point a brave security guard from another store got involved.

Clearly the suspect seems to be on something. What a site to see:

Hi @OIGLABOPC,

Formal LAPD Officer Misconduct complaint (attached)

OFFICER SERIALS: 43266 & 43618
Division: @LAPDHollywood
DATE: 8/20/2020

COMPLAINT: Refusal to provide identification

Summary to follow. @LAPDChiefMoore @LAPDLurie @LAPDBBixler

Image
The @LAPDHollywood station captain @LAPDLurie has already confirmed that officers should provide identification when requested. The officer in this video either:

A) doesn’t know the LAPD rules/policies;
-or-
B) purposely tried to hide identity.

Either one is an indictment. Image
The @LAPDHollywood station will try to defend these actions by claiming they came back. But that was after some witnesses had already left. And it was clear their return was to prevent interviewing of subjects (as subjects clearly felt intimidation in vid)

Hi @OIGLABOPC

Formal LAPD Officer Misconduct complaint (see: attached)

OFFICER SERIAL: 43166
Division: @LAPDHollywood
DATE: 8/21/2020

COMPLAINT: Racial profiling; Search w/out Probable Cause.

Full vid:

Summary to follow. @LAPDChiefMoore @LAPDBBixler Image
Per usual, subjects (black kids) we’re stopped for a minor traffic infraction, then removed from car, lined-up against wall/fence, they were searched, vehicle searched (even under the hood) without probable cause of a crime being committed. It gets worse.... #LAPD
When asked what the probable cause was for the search, no officers had answers.

But I’m not the least bit surprised, as I’ve witnessed this officer conduct similar stops in the past — in which I’ve personally filed 3rd party complaints with the @OIGLABOPC: see here:

Did you know...

That Portland #Police Association (#PPA) President Darryl Turner is also the President of #ORCOPS, the Oregon Coalition of Police & Sheriffs, which he helped launch in 2015?

#PortlandOregon #PortlandOR #PDX #PDXpolice #PoliceUnions #PoliceBrutality #PoliceReform Image
ORCOPS website says "ORCOPS uses the Portland Police Association office as a home base with an on-staff social media manager, in-house communications, and shared resources so our overhead is minimal."
Tom Perkins is the Secretary-Treasurer, who is also from the #PPA.

#pdx #gov ImageImage
#ORCORPS touts itself as saying that their "members are the only law enforcement advocacy group in Oregon with a proven history of influence and representation in the State legislature."

This means they like to be involved in law & policy making.

#lapd something going on in #vannuys - inc#5386. When dispatchers start referring to a call by it's incident number only, it's usually something big. It's to keep people like me out of the loop as much as possible.
additional information: since I have not posted the location, sounds like the person calling is enroute to the location, and there are 4 people inside who PD wants the caller to ask them to come out.
I usually am able to find out more info about these calls via additional scanner traffic on other channels. This one is really quiet. No chatter anywhere

Fellow Vets,

There are white nationalists who have served in the military & hiding among active duty

Many have become radicalized by the WN ideology

It likely began with an ambiguous boogaloo "joke"

Or a 3% meeting

Or the perversion of an oath

There is a sickness growing
They are teaching "vet bros" to cosplay online as veterans

They disgrace OUR service by creating a false narrative that their online "service" is much more important

They seek to drown out ACTUAL veterans so that THEY can define patriotism

They are easy to recognize if you look...

They typically pose as SF, MI or CI
And use "security clearance" as the excuse for anonymity 🙄

They'll try to say that because of your MOS, that your service somehow counts less

They'll overuse "POG" or misspel acronyms

Should @AndrewYang worry about reaching & SECURING the Black Vote? #YangGang

@AndrewYang Thread 1: Pandering Vs Meaningful Policy

In 2020..Politicians must spend more effort talking to us not at us..".that candidates’ efforts to engage black communities often focus more on symbolic gestures than MEANINGFUL interactions." #BlacksForYang

vox.com/identities/201…
@AndrewYang What I really want the #YangGangFamily to understand ...ANYONE specifically talking to us about our own issues different to yours is NOT PANDERING...It's pandering when it's all about style (sounding cool, playing hiphop, photo ops etc..) and ZERO SUBSTANCE..no fake interest.
