1. What is the war strategy of Somaliland (SL) administration in #Laasaanood?

There is no strategy.

Early on, during the uprising of the LA residents, SL tried the divide-and-rule strategy by attempting to buy favors from certain sections of the SSC population.
2. Divide-and-rule was SL's best strategy; however, after several years of unresolved and horrific targeted extrajudicial assassinations of nearly 150 prominent people, which have caused an imaginable upheaval and embittered the SSC community, this strategy collapsed.
3. The constant shuttle undiplomacy by the Minister of Interior, Mr. Kahin, the Minister of Communication, Mr. Kore, and the Speaker of the House, Mr. Khalif, did not create fissures amongst the SSC people. On the contrary, it galvanized the SSC community.

On the 4th January, #Somaliland's militia executed Mohamud Ali Sadle in the middle LA. After the murder, they violated the corpse by refusing it to be taken for a proper Islamic burial. Outraged locals took up and ejected the #Somaliland militia from city. Image

A drawing by Melton Prior, a famous war correspondent and artist between 1870-1910 illustrating the battle of Cagaarweyne 90km south of #Laascaanood. The battle took place on the 17th of April 1903 and the drawing was published on the 6th of June, 1903. Image
This specific drawing was dedicated to Major Arthur Plunkett who was among those leading the colonial army at the battle of Cagaarweyne. He was shot in the head at this battle and killed while escaping from the onslaught of somali Dervish forces. Image
At the battle of Cagaarweyne, No British officer escaped, and the surviving Sikhs were all killed on their charge back. Only forty-seven men, all Africans most of whom had been separated during the initial attack, made it back to the British colonial headquarters.
