#Mi28UB a Mi-28N derivative with dual controls seen with 2 KMGU-2 mine dispenser pods on pylons. The @IAF_MCC chose the more expensive Apache AH-64E over the Mi-29N because of the former better network centricity & likely govt prodding? Mi-28UB details at sites.google.com/site/idpsentin… Image

The unveiling of the Mi-24P-1M #Mi24P1M attack helicopter by UAC & KRET at #MAKS2019 #MAKS19 could trigger introspection on the part of @IAF_MCC in view of the budgetary constraints that stand in the way of further AH-64E procurement. Image
The #Mi24P1M was developed to Russian MoD specs based on the Syrian campaign experience and KRET plugs the new Mi-24/Mi-35 variant as a 'real digital' attack helicopter with 90 percent of its hardware and systems replaced or upgraded. Details at sites.google.com/site/idpsentin… Image
The marketing hype notwithstanding, the #Mi24P1M now significantly features AESA radar and EOTS, visible in the photo below, besides helmet mounted sighting, MFDs, full scope autopilot, and autonomous search and destroy capability! Does the @IAF_MCC still want to junk its Mi-35s? Image

Any professional photographer would tell you that this is a pedestrian click by a novice, but I believe this picture, showing two Su-30SM aircraft in formation at #MAKS19 #MAKS2019 on August 28, 2019, is the most amazing picture that I have ever clicked! Image
Indeed, it's a picture of the most amazing thing that I have seen in my life as an aviator because the two Su-30SMs are in a zero speed sustained vertical hover, in freaking close formation! #MAKS19 #MAKS2019
The crazy #Su30SM pair put up an even more astounding performance at #MAKS2019 #MAKS19 on August 29, 2019, which included formation hover & recovery, fierce synchronized maneuvering, low altitude (< 1km) vertical hovers, sustained flat spinning, and savage 1vs1 visual combat! Image

The aircraft was unveiled on the ground at the start of the #MAKS19 show today and took to the skies around 2:30 PM flying in a formation of four. Image
The most impressive maneuver that the aircraft performed today was a sustained hover with zero vertical and horizontal speeds. Followed by a very controlled and lazy tail slide during which I wondered if the pilot would power up and reverse the tail slide! He didn't. Image
On the ground, the most impressive features of the #Su57 are its clean lines and finish, so unlike Russian fighters known to and operated by the @IAF_MCC so far! Image
