3/ Piranesi, by Susanna Clarke. How she conjures such a vivid and magical world with just words I have no idea. It is a world I did not want to leave. Read it, and then listen to Chiwetel Ejiofor read it to you. Wonderful. uk.bookshop.org/books/piranesi…

The reason we are late to release them is technical difficulties due to the way we created our SC. When launching #ClubGorgon back in February, fairness of minting events and #NFTs distribution was a hot topic. ⬇️

Our aim was to launch as transparent as possible. We looked into different ways of making our mint fair. This was the case, especially because the club spared 300 #Medusa #ElrondNFTs for its treasury.

"La Aparición" es una acuarela del artista francés Gustave #Moreau, pintada entre 1874 y 1876 y hoy expuesta en el Musée d'Orsay, donde capta a #Salomé bailando frente a #Herodes Antipas pero teniendo una especie de sueño o visión de la cabeza de #JuanBautista.

These are some of the online resources I used in my Medusa lecture. The main idea was on reclamation vs exploitation of the myth.
I started with the Theogony and discussed Gorgons, M's location, and Perseus decapitating her.

Then we looked at Ovid's version from Met. 4. Change in location, role of Minerva, debate about whether Minerva transforms Medusa "for her own protection."
Then we looked at a whole range of visuals starting with this Medusa mosaic from Dion, Greece.
