Happy #InternationalWomensDay!

@ActBlue breaks its policies to let wife beaters, pedophiles, and sexual harassers to raise tens of millions of dollars

Follow along to see why #OHSEN @SherrodBrown, #GASEN @ReverendWarnock, and more have to go

REMINDER: My @FreeBeacon reporting got @ActBlue to boot @andrewcuomo while he was running for reelection as #NYGOV

ActBlue's policies are clear--there is no room for Dems accused of sexual misconduct on it

@lachlan's reporting at the time: axios.com/2021/08/05/dem…

(2/xx)
REMINDER: @ActBlue kicked a teenager who was a Democratic nominee for state legislature in Kansas off the platform because he sent revenge porn when he was *in middle school*

It was clear based on that precedent that @andrewcuomo had to go

New from me @TheSpectator:

The REAL @katieporteroc scandal that literally everyone is ignoring is the fact it took an anonymous instagram account, @DWS________, to do the job that the Capitol Hill press corps *exists to do*

Here we go...

thespectator.com/topic/katie-po…

(1/xx)
#CA47's @katieporteroc, darling of the liberal media, is having a rough couple of weeks. The congresswoman has recently been accused of: firing an employee who allegedly gave her Covid; using racist language, and fostering a hostile workplace!

thespectator.com/topic/katie-po…

(2/xx)
These are explosive allegations to be levied against @katieporteroc, yet the general public would NEVER have heard of any of them were it not for @DWS________, an anonymous Instagram account that did the job of the *entire* DC press corps.

Put the magic markers away, kids.

Ridge Austin James Kinney, 11/15/2001, in custody on 2nd and 4th degree assault, fleeing x2 and 1st degree damage to property.
Charges say Kinney rammed a Brainerd squad during a suspicious vehicle stop, then fled, crashed and fled on foot.
2/
Two prior felony convictions on 1st degree burglary of an occupied dwelling in two separate cases, which is a violent crime. Also, has another felony conviction on receiving stolen property.
3/
In a 2019 conviction on 1st degree burglary, a plea deal dismissed 3 counts of felon in possession/firearm & another ct of 1st degree burglary & spun him out on a stayed sentence for the violent crime of 1st degree burglary.

MN is totally serious about gun and violent crimes.

The Indianapolis Star, owned by Gannett, has launched a despicable attack on Diego Morales, the Republican candidate for Indiana SoS. They admit he's a veteran, and still question if he is. #journalism
The Indianapolis Star has often hit new lows under @Gannett's ownership. I never thought they would reach this low -- questioning an immigrant's service when they admit he was honorably discharged.
I've also never seen a newspaper use the definition of veteran as qualifying for federal benefits as the main criterion as a "vet."

Hopkins police on Friday arrested a suspect in two separate burglaries of occupied dwellings.

We've previously posted Efrain Almestica, 08/23/1988, who was booked on 12 felony + other warrants. New charges are expected in the Hopkins burglaries.
.
2/
You will recall Efrain Almestica from this classic video when he rammed into a Bloomington apartment building while trying to flee police late last year.
.

3/
That Bloomington case is one of the open felony/other warrants under which Almestica has been jailed, among numerous other cases from Edina, Richfield, Minneapolis and Minnetonka involving multiple burglary, multiple fleeing, auto theft and obstruction.

Miguel Huerta, 08/02/1974
Another dangerous offender deemed "incompetent" was released on $500 bail by Judge Richard H. Kyle, Jr., and is now charged with raping a 14-year-old in St. Paul on Feb. 14 after breaking into the home.
2/
Huerta had been charged in another case stemming from 2019 on 1st degree burglary (occupied dwelling). He was found incompetent to stand trial in the case. He also recently twice failed to appear at hearings in that case (Nov and Dec 2021).
3/
Yet, Huerta was ordered released into society on low bail pending yet another order for a competency evaluation signed on Jan. 6, 2022 by Judge Richard Kyle.

OMFG.
Remember Brandon David Miller who, while acting as a 'violence interrupter' for We Push for Peace, beat a shoeless homeless man outside a St. Paul grocery store last fall...
2/
He was sentenced on Tuesday.

In a downward departure from sentencing guidelines, Miller's 27-month prison sentence was stayed by Judge George T. Stephenson.

He was instead sentenced to probation... DESPITE...
...
3/
... DESPITE the fact that Miller was charged in another felony assault case in December (occurred Oct. 31) that left the victim with serious injuries.

That case is still open/pending and would have/should have been known to the judge at the time of sentencing.

As you may know, @CrimeWatchMpls is a volunteer effort. All of the research and reporting we've provided for over 11 years has been done for free as a public service -- because we believe people deserve information that's sorely lacking from authorities & mainstream #MNmedia.
2/
No entity or agency pays us to do this. And while it's our passion to provide all of this information for free, it's not free to produce. There are real costs involved and absorbed by us (equipment, scanners, software, electronic storage and costs for obtaining public data).
3/
In the past we've been able to obtain occasional criminal complaints from various counties or agencies for our reporting (when often a courthouse visit would be required).

As volunteers, we don't have "staff" or resources to be running to the courthouse for documents.

Maurice Angelo McClinton Smith CHARGED w/3 felonies including 2nd degree murder & 1st degree burglary in #StPaul's 1st homicide.
Smith gave a rambling statement to police.
Charges say Smith & the victim were Facebook friends & that Smith kicked in the door armed with a knife. ImageImageImage
2/
As we posted yesterday, if it wasn't for Minnesota's lax joke of a criminal justice system, McClinton Smith should have been in prison at the time of the murder.
3/
McClinton Smith has three prior felony convictions including theft, prohibited person in possession of teargas or stun gun, and violation of a no contact order.

Oh, a violent predatory offender with 17 prior convictions including 6 felonies is in custody on probable cause murder.

Jeffrey Velt Stanley Murray, DOB: 09.22.1986

If only there were some predictor of behavior.

#3StrikesMN for violent and repeat offenders.
.
. Image
2/
Murray was also just charged in July with being a felon in possession of a firearm and vehicle theft.

Charges say he was pulled over for a "minor traffic stop" when it was discovered he was in a stolen vehicle and a loaded gun was found.
.

3/

Despite Murray's violent and predictable history, Murray was offered bail and was released from custody the day after being charged in that case.

Now here he is.

End bail for violent and repeat offenders, MN.

Connecticut, Minnesota, Vermont, and Wisconsin are holding Congressional primaries today and Georgia is holding primary runoff elections for several House seats.
In Connecticut, Democrats hold all 5 House seats and none are facing primary challengers. Republicans will challenge Democrats this fall in all 5 seats with 2 primaries in 1st and 2nd Districts held today. GOP winners will face Reps. Larson and Courtney respectively in November.
In Minnesota, #MNSen primary elections are being held today. 1st term Democratic Senator Tina Smith face four DFL primary challengers and 5 Republican candidates including former Rep. Jason Lewis who was endorsed by President Trump are running to be their party's nominee.

Ilhan Omar primary challenger Antone Melton-Meaux’s eye-popping $3.2M in #mn05 has gotten a lot of attention, but note that Republican Lacy Johnson raised *$2M* in Q2, mostly in small donations.

In both parties, it seems, money will gush to people challenging Omar.
Omar, Melton-Meaux and Johnson combined to raise $5.7M in Q2. That’s nearly TWICE as much as the major #mnsen candidates Tina Smith and Jason Lewis raised combined.
Lacy Johnson’s $2M raised comes with a high burn rate — $1.5M spent. That includes spending $714K on direct mail, and nearly $700K on credit card fees to WinRed, the Republican answer to ActBlue. #mn05

THREAD: Jason Lewis has made one thing clear: all he wants to do is go back to Washington and push an uncompromising partisan agenda – even if it means supporting policies that hurt Minnesota families. #MNSEN
dfl.org/media/jason-le…
In a recent interview, Lewis was asked if there was anything President Trump has done that he does not support or endorse. Lewis responded by saying, “Well, good policy is good politics. And I agree with his policies, so why would I oppose anything?”
minnesota.cbslocal.com/video/4439781-…
When asked a second time if he disagrees with ANY Trump policies, Lewis said “I’m not going to psychoanalyze everything everybody’s said, everybody’s different. But again, good policy makes good politics and I agree with the policies.”

Translation: no.

THREAD: Trump is coming to Minnesota this week to break our blue wall and flip our state red in 2020. That can’t happen. We’re launching a #MoneyBlizzard to make sure we have the resources to fight back against his hateful campaign. RT & Donate: secure.actblue.com/donate/moneybl…
Here’s why this is bad news for Dems everywhere: 1) Donald Trump came within 1.5 percentage points (or 44,470 votes) of winning statewide in Minnesota in 2016. That’s the 2nd closest Democratic state in the country after New Hampshire.
Trump almost winning Minnesota was not a fluke.

Minnesota, one of the last bastions of progressivism in the Midwest, has been trending more and more red in the last few presidential elections.
