2. From the outset, we are talking about Atlantic salmon today (Salmo salar) and not any of the Pacific salmon species (various Oncorhynchus sp.). 1 of these species is making in-roads into this side of the Atlantic (the PINK salmon), but thatās a whole other story

I have an issue thatās been bugging me for a while, but I recently contacted a professor to express my concerns related to a specific assignment. Now I have a meeting with the program director tomorrow (eep!)
It seems to be very common in my MSW classes to have an assignment that requires me to find either 1) a professional to interview 2) a person or group of people who are experiencing a problem to interview or observe or 3) a friend to pretend to be a client

1/ So we had the pleasure this week of speaking to a criminal defense attorney in the EDVA who has stood in front of Judge Ellis, and spoke to a lawyer that was in the hearing for Manafortās motion to dismiss.

1/ So we had the pleasure this week of speaking to a criminal defense attorney in the EDVA who has stood in front of Judge Ellis, and spoke to a lawyer that was in the hearing for Manafortās motion to dismiss.
2/ First, she Explained (as I had posited) that Judge Ellis goes hard on the government to make sure the Feds have good reason to bring a case. In fact, he does this so often, itās called āgetting Ellisedā, and is considered a badge of honor for federal prosecutors.
3/ Then she told us about an attorney who was present during the motion hearing last Friday when Ellis laid into Muellerās team. When asked why the case wasnāt given to EDVA the way the Cohen case was handed off to SDNY, he dropped a bombshell.
