1. Funny how, when it's convenient, they accuse CCC of trying to promote a "one Opposition party state", yet by their conduct, they legitimize CCC as being the authentic ZanuPF alternative.

Even when you listen to their interviews, you're reminded of this political reality.
2. Take for instance how CCC is given the stick for "not having structures".

In contrast, noone asks who the other leaders are, let alone structures, in these so called 'issue based parties'.

If anything, they are the purest definition of structureless fly-by-night projects.
3. You also hear that CCC hasn't offered any solutions nor alternative policies.

Irony is, not a single party in Zimbabwe is yet to produce its 2023 electoral blueprint, or party manifesto.

It only becomes a CCC problem because it's somehow fashionable to attck that party.

1. @nelsonchamisa:

"Many don't understand that CCC project is a people's project & that God is in it. It has a God element because we didn't just wake up with it. There's a reason why we had to be moved from the Egypt of our politics (MDC), into the Cannan of new politics,(CCC)"
2. @nelsonchamisa:

"CCC was a product of a lot of inspiration, revelation & consultation. We spent the last quarter of 2021 consulting different stakeholders, churches; traditional leaders; trade union leaders; youth & women groups; business; & various other organized groups."
3. @nelsonchamisa:

"(people said)..they needed a new vehicle, new substance, new politics, new software in politics. That's how we ended up coalescing around the convergence narrative, a new consensus of the people of 🇿🇼, to respond to years of oppression & decades of injustice"

1] #BulilimaReflection

The outcome of 3 Bulilima council by-election results will certainly give CCC and citizens supporting the movement, a lot to cheer about, going into the rest of the week & perhaps the 2023 elections.

Most definitely, the yellow excitement is well earned.
2] The 3 Bulilima wards were all previously held by ZanuPF Councilors, as was the case with the rest of the council seats.

The three seats fell vacant around the same time (unusual phenomenon), two due to resignations, the other, death

In the end, CCC won 2, ZanuPF snatching 1.
3] What's the significance of the win, including potentially key lessons from the same?

First thing that immediately comes to mind is that CCC effectively unseated ZanuPF.

That's no mean feat, considering how ZanuPF traditionally takes by-elections seriously (more than Opp).

1. Now that the MASVINGO WEST WARD 21 BY ELECTION is over, it is imperative that we demystify the circumstances we faced in the run up, during & after elections. I implore and think that it is high time #MUGWAZO is taken seriously without fear or favour @daddyhope @nelsonchamisa
2. The election in ward 21 was no meaner task bcz it was a litmus test of rural agenda , specifically , a resettlement area , a ward with plots, over 400 purchase farms, few professionals, 3 villages. The geographical distance of the ward covers from Bhati @nelsonchamisa
3. ...and is near the boundary of Masvingo Central near near Muchakata with MUKORSI POLLING STATION & NYAMAFUFU. It is not possible to campaign in that ward on foot of using fan cargos, or Honda fit but offroad. This means the cost of covering the ward is high @daddyhope
