I know what you’re thinking: How the fuck is this camouflage? It was invented during #WW1 for ships and it didn’t hide them better - obviously. With the u-boat being introduced during this war & causing such destruction to shipping, anything that gave a little edge back to ships
was sorely needed. The real key here is painting two entirely different styles on port and starboard and have them meet up NOT at the bow, but off-center. The differently sized stripes as well as the random patches make tracking the ship VERY difficult.
