We, especially as fellow devs, should show kindness. I felt a bit of solidarity in sharing my experience being on a ‘hated’ game. There are loads of us who have been there,” Rochelle said. “I wanted to show that it’s okay to work on something #CSKvsGT #MasterChef #GeminiFourth

The pressure of TV work, running her restaurant and family issues led Monica Galetti to quit the show — yet she’s back on television tonight thetimes.co.uk/article/monica…
Running a restaurant is hard work at the best of times. Now is not the best of times. A short-term labour shortage in the hospitality industry has turned into a full-blown crisis.

And one of those affected is Monica Galetti
👩‍🍳 Most people know her from her 14-year stint as a judge on MasterChef: The Professionals.

BBC audiences and television executives have fallen in love with her no-nonsense approach and obvious skill behind a stove

Cooking shows in India owe a lot to the charismatic chefs and hosts that took the genre outside its stuffy prescriptive formula, transforming it from a domestic chore to an industry that was suddenly glamorous. It’s beginnings were, of course, on Doordarshan.
The first was Dawat, aired in 1991. It was hosted by Jiggs Kalra, a restaurant critic and food journalist. He would bring on a unique chef and guest for each of the 32 episodes. A full year of research went into the show. A Reddit user remembers Kapil Dev being a guest, in tears
due to a dish with whole red chillies in it.

Tarla Dalal, famous from her bestselling vegetarian cookbooks, cooked for 'Cook it up with Tarla Dala' on Sony. Dalal's lack of hosting pizzazz was made up by the co-host, the humourous actor Sudhanshu Pandey,

What a phenomenal conversation with @theblindcook Christine Ha here at #SXSW! Christine, you're my superhero! Keep an eye on this thread for a link to the audio and video from this session when it's available, all!
We talked about Josh Marks, the other finalist in Season 3 of #Masterchef, who was diagnosed (too late) with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, and took his own life. Disability has many faces, and to @theblindcook's point, we are ALL "temporarily able."

Please give if you can to the Josh R.. Marks Memorial Fund in his memory. Thank you.

Razones por las que no soporto #MasterChef
Hilo.
🖕
