#Modinomics decided in 2020/21 to Introduce the 20% #Ethanol Blending (Petrol) Policy.

Intention of the Policy designed by the @NITIAyog was to save India Rs36,000 in FOREX & help the Environment

BUT AT WHAT COST ?

FIRST: Every litre of Ethanol, Govt India will lose Rs15-20 in Tax Collections since:
👉Cost of Procuring PETROL is Rs45/lt
👉Cost of Procurement of ETHANOL is Rs65/Lt

👉Difference is Rs20/lt is LOSS IN TAX REVENUE

1020cr Ethanol = 20400cr in Tax Losses/Yr

1. He made a distinction between #Hindutva as practiced by RSS & as understood by him. He said - my Hindutva doesn't make me hate people.

2. RSS Chief's persistent claim that all Indians had the same ancestors, meaning Hindus - UT had a 2 fold answer - If you talk of the ancestors, you will have to go back to monkeys, and, if ancestors of all Indians were Hindus - why u behave as if ancestors of opposition ..

leaders came from a different planet. [Methinks, this is an effective counter (given the charged & gullible citizens) to the trope of claiming superiority of race by the Sangh Pariwar.

Make no mistake. #PMModi's address to the nation was politucally a #MasterStroke. By a) opening up vaccines to 18+ but leaving that to the States
b) appealing against lockdowns
c) assuring the people of medicines beds and oxygen but askinc States to make the arrangements...

He has passed on the baton of responsibility and accountability to the States, while reserving for himself the credit for any end to the crisis. He has outsourced potential brickbats the people might throw, while keeping for himself any bouquets his #Bhakts are busy preparing.

By guaranteeing migrant workers that centre and States are working to guarantee their jobs and livelihoods if they stay put, any pain they face travelling back to their villages will be blamed on the CMs of States (Mah and Delhi). #Clever but #Cynical.

नवीन कृषी विधेयकांना विरोध का होतोय ?

१) सरकार : ऐतिहासिक कायदा आहे... शेतकऱ्यांचं नशीब बदलेल.

शेतकरी : बरं... पण कसं?

२) सरकार : शेतकरी कुठेही जाऊन त्याच उत्पादन विकू शकेल.

शेतकरी: ते आम्ही पूर्वीसुद्धा करू शकत होतो. कुठलाही सरकारी नियम आम्हाला तसं करण्यापासून अडवत नाही.

३) सरकार : पुढील वस्तू limitless साठवून ठेवता येतील. बटाटा , कांदा , डाळी , अन्नधान्य , खाद्यतेल बिया.

शेतकरी : याचा फायदा साठेबाजांना होईल. ते या वस्तूंचा साठा करून ठेवतील आणि जेव्हा शेतकरी माल विकायला बाजारात आणतील तेव्हा भाव पडलेले असतील.

४) सरकार : किमान आधारभूत किंमत ( हमीभाव MSP) हटणार नाही , आम्ही आश्वासन देतो.

शेतकरी : आश्वासन नको. विधेयकात तसं लिहा की माल खरेदी करणाऱ्याला तो किमान आधारभूत किमतीच्या खाली विकत घेता येणार नाही.

सरकार : नाही. तसं आम्ही लिहिणार नाही.

...then start my hunt for an ATM in search of money. After visiting 3-4 ATMs , I could get a 2k note and used to go to bed hoping the luck to shine the next day too.
RBI later declared that 99.3% of the currency was back in the banks. I donno whether we have data..

on the number of lives lost, job and livelihood losses due to an awesome idea of Mr Bokil. The middle class and poor families were badly hit due to the unprecedented move. Donno how much black money was caught or how many big sharks went behind bars.
