❗️Eduard Batlle, @icreacommunity researcher at @IRBBarcelona, is awarded his fifth @ERC_Research grant. With this ERC Advanced Grant, the @BatlleLab will study residual cells that cause tumour recurrence after colon cancer treatment.

"Despite the clinical relevance of disseminated tumour cells, very little is known about them, and advances in this area would benefit many patients," says Batlle.
"Our laboratory has made great contributions to the field of colorectal cancer, thanks to funding from the @ERC_Research," Batlle acknowledges, "this grant will allow us to advance in the knowledge of colorectal cancer metastasis."
