Suspects: 5 BM in a blue Mazda SUV - shots were fire in the parking lot of the park.
No plates on this Mazda, and it's believed to be stolen.

MINNEAPOLIS: Officer reports 3 shots heard in the area of Logan Ave. N. & Oak Park Ave. ShotSpotter activation for 3 rounds near 10xx Logan Ave. N. - A white Ford Explorer was possibly involved. The officer pursued the vehicle, and recovered a gun & casings inside. #MplsCrime

MINNEAPOLIS: Police were called to the area of 3rd Ave. S. & 31st St. E. around 9:30 p.m. after a man reported his stolen vehicle was there.
The vehicle was occupied by two males who were reportedly trying to sell to the victim his own belongings out of the back of the car.

When police arrived on scene, the two suspects fled on foot, with police in tow.

Officer on scene advises this was NOT a burglary, but a drunk male on the patio that apparently caused the original caller to think he was breaking into the apartment.

This is near the 5th Precinct. Officer who called in the sound of shots said they sounded like a "high-caliber rifle."
Officers advised dispatch to alert local hospitals in case any gunshot victims show up. No victims reported at this point.
